(Taemin)

We were at the training grounds the next morning and were in a line formation. Charisma was in front of us walking up and down the line ready to start the class, he looks tired but his bed hair makes him look hot… shut up will you already!

“The first thing you’ll learn today is how to shoot a gun. The second thing is how to win in a fight,” Charisma walks from the other end of the line and hands a gun in everyone’s hand.

When he presses it to my hand he doesn’t give any eye contact at all to us. “Thankfully, if you are here, you already know how to get on and off a moving train, so I don’t need to teach you that. Initiation is divided into three different stages. We will measure your progress and rank you according to your performance in each stage. They will not be weighted equally in determining your final rank so it’s possible but difficult to drastically change your rank in a short amount of time. There stages are physical, emotional and mental.”

“So if you do well in two stages and not too good in another would that be bad?” Kai wondered loudly. Charisma looked towards Kai and nods smirking.

“Yes we prefer others who are compatible in all three stages. Now watch me.” We all look at Charisma who turns around to his targets, three targets and shoots all three in the bullseye. Wow he is not only hot but good as well! I must have dozed out because everyone was shooting their targets now. I gulped and spread my legs apart a little and lifted the gun to the targets.

What I learnt all my life is peace and harmony now here I am becoming violent and aggressive. Everything I learnt is pushed out of my mind and I shoot three times. I look to my targets to see I shot none of them. I pouted pathetically.

“I’d thought you’d at least get one shot at least, it usually is the case, you’re making those theories become fictional,” Tao laughed and I did the same. I looked to Tao’s targets and my eyes widened. There he shot three times in the bullseye two times and the other almost to the middle. Wow he is good too; I am going to be kicked out of this faction if my results stay the same. I see Key shoot three times as well and got at least one hit close to the middle. “See I told you.”

This made me try again and this time shooting five more times I got three shots around the middle. Wow I actually did it, I might have a chance.

When it was lunch at last my hands were killing me, shaking and sore from the gun taking me back a little sometimes. The recoil hurts a lot. I can see the bruises forming now. Tao, Key, Kai and I were at the table.

“My hand hurts so much! It’s got bruises and a cut,” Key whined and Tao joined in with them. Kyungsoo walks past with the food and gasps seeing Kai’s hands.

“Oh my Kai! You’re hands are all bruised and it looks like it hurts,” Kyungsoo looked at Kai worriedly. Oh boy…

“Oh it’s nothing I can’t handle Soo,” Kai replied in a chillax tone. Kyungsoo blushed, probably the new nickname, smooth Kai real smooth. I decided I couldn’t touch things without hissing so I decided to not eat the rest of my food and wonder around. Stupid guns, hurting me, I raged in my mind. A hand touches me and I turn to see it was Charisma himself. He looks to my hands and his eyebrows crease a little.

“Come that looks bad,” he orders and I nod following him to the infirmary. I sat on the bed and Charisma came back with a medical kit and took out a liquid and some cotton balls. He dabbed the cotton ball onto the liquid and placed it onto my bruised hands. I hissed biting my lip from screaming which would make me feel embarrassed.

“I’m f-ine Cha-risma,” I stuttered painfully. I tried to pull my hand away but he wouldn’t let go.

“Are you trying to get yourself sick or even killed. If you don’t treat your wounds they’ll get infected and then that could lead to death. We have an infirmary to use you know,” he joked at the last sentence which made butterflies flutter in my stomach. He is so nice.

“My friends are hurt as well but why help me?” I asked him curiously, I mean I wasn’t the only one who was hurt. He looked up to me and I had to control the heat that wanted to come onto my cheeks.

“Because you were the most injured then the rest and they only had minor bruising. So does that answer your question?” he wondered and I nod not wanting to get him annoyed or angry of me. He bandages my hands and stands up putting the medical equipment away.

“Do I leave now sir?” I asked kindly. He looks at me weirdly.

“Yes you can but don’t call me sir. Just Charisma okay,” he reassures and I nod quickly.

“Yes I’m sorry si- I mean Charisma. I’ll leave now,” I bowed then ran to the others who were going to the next training now.

We were in a new room and it was a bigger room this time. We stand in a line and I see a board with our names on it, oh dear.

“Remember this morning what I told you. Now we are going to fight to see who is capable of being here. If you are not capable then you will surely not be in here for long. First we are learning about technique and then tomorrow you’ll start to fight each other tomorrow.” I hope to have one of my friends, I just hope. I look to my left to see Kris the one I saw staring at my friends and I at the start smirking at me. I just hope I don’t get him.
