Once everyone was on the ground, we were lead through a tunnel which was dark and gloomy, causing others to shiver a little along the way. When we were almost to the noise I could hear The hot guy stops and we all stop as well.

“I usually am in the control room but for a couple of weeks I’ll be your instructor. My name is Charisma,” Minho introduces himself to all of us.

“Wow I was expecting something like Sheldon or something like that,” a boy from Candor laughs and Charisma walks in front of him glaring.

“If I wanted to deal with your shit I would of joined your faction but I’m not so you have to learn to shut up,” he growls and the boy shrinks a little. Wow he is so cool! Kai nudges me to see another boy who was already in dauntless who ha big eyes, like owl eyes. He seemed to be like a nice person, Kai likes him. Already flirting like always.

“We are almost at the pits, you’ll soon to love it. Let’s go,” he walks again and we follow.

“That guy is so boring,” Kai grumbled.

“He isn’t boring he is… just doing his job,” I answer smiling. He suddenly chuckles. “What?”

“You like him,” he answers and I stick my tongue out to him playfully punching his arm. We laugh and we arrived at the pits. There we saw tables filled with dauntless people who were already from there. He leads us to another area where it was a bridge and a waterfall falling down. Wow that looks deep.

“Try to jump, then you’ll die. Happened before and it will still happen,” he chuckles when he looks at the scared faces of us all except me which puzzled him a little in my opinion. He takes us back to the hall and we sit and food was in front of us. There was meat and I am too scared to eat it. I have always been vegetarian.

“What is this?” Kai poked the meat on his plate with curiosity. Before I could answer it was the boy who Kai likes.

“It’s meat. It is really good for you and we basically have it every day so you better like it. Try having sauce onto it,” he gave the sauce bottle to Kai and Kai squirted it onto the meat and took a bite. His face became fluttery.

“Wow it’s so good! Thank you for telling me how to eat this hyung,” he beamed shyly which I caught the boy blush a little. Ooohh lala what am I seeing here.

“Uh no problem. The name is Kyungsoo but people call me D.O and I am one of the cooks here. I’m glad you liked it,” Kyungsoo giggles happily.

“My name is Jongin but people call me Kai. Wow could you teach me hyung?” he beamed again and Kyungsoo nodded to absorbed into Kai’s puppy face. Well lucky him! I look to my plate again and there I see Key and Tao eating it too. I looked to my plate and I didn’t know if I should.

“You are meant to eat it,” I heard a voice sit next to me. it was Charisma himself. Wow better up close. “You got to eat it or else you’ll starve.”

“I uh never had meat before I mean I am,” he interrupted me.

“Not allowed? I know how Amity are and how they try to save everything nicely and all. Amity is the opposite of us dauntless so I am surprised to see you here,” he gave me curious eyes and I gulped nervously. He cut up a piece and squirted some sauce onto it and grabbed my chin opening my mouth and fed me the meat. I chewed it slowly and swallowed it. wow it was yummy.

“Wow.”

“I can see you like it. Now eat up we have to go soon,” Charisma gets up and walks away. Later after dinner we were taken to look around and by one of the leader of dauntless who was young in my opinion.

“My name is Junho, and I am one of the leaders in dauntless. Rules now. Bet every day at the training grounds at 8 am in the morning. From 8 to 6 with lunch in the middle. You can’t leave the area unless accompanied by a dauntless member. We keep dauntless people and you guys separated until this is all over.” Kai pouts sadly. “There is training and the training is where we rank you all on.”

“Why are we ranked?” Tao wondered shyly.

“First to see if what job you get when being in dauntless but also to see who will be officially dauntless.” This made everyone freeze. “There are 9 of you and 11 dauntless borns to choose from. Only 10 are chosen and the rest will be kicked out and faction less.” Why did I come here? “Tomorrow we start the first test and four will be kicked out and then soon mostly everyone will too. behind the door I am standing in front of are your rooms. I am leaving now,” Junho leaves and everyone panicks. He stops and turns to us.

“You chose us and now we must chose you, night everyone.” Everyone walks into the room and onto their beds.

“Oh no I am not going to make it! If I knew,” Key cried.

“No fair I can’t hang with Kyungsoo,” Kai pouted and I give him a wth look.

“We can do it, I know we can,” Tao fist pumped to the air and I nod.

“We need to stick together and that mean you too Kai, no running or sneaking away to your ‘crush’ okay,” I demanded and he pouts.

“Fine so mean to me,” he pouts. At night I heard sobs and tears being let out. I had memories of my mom and brother, also cousin Sunny. Did I choose the right one?
