Chapter 9: USJ Incident

A/N: After this chapter, the story won't follow the anime/manga plot as closely.

Once you were sure Bakugo was gone, you swiveled on your heels to face Kirishima.

"I'll go with you so we can meet up with the others but first I have to make sure Aizawa-sensei is OK." You pleaded, a crease entering your forehead. "You know it's the right thing-no, the manly thing to do!" You knew exactly how to appeal to the spiky red headed boy's senses.

Kirishima gave out a sigh in defeat. There's no way he could say no to that.

"Fine, but we meet up with the others right after. He won't admit it...but Bakugo'll kill me if I let anything happen to you!"

"Let's go!" You urgently jerked him towards the last direction you saw Aizawa.

When you two finally found Aizawa, you gasped in horror at the sight.

You saw a scrawny man with light yellow skin and blueish gray hair who had floating hands surrounding him, even one covering his face.

There was also a bulky hybrid bird looking monster. This monster had an almost lifeless and bleeding Aizawa crushed underneath him.

Kirishima slapped a hand over your mouth before you could let out a scream or a gasp at the sight and quickly pulled you down with him to hide behind a mound from the two villains.

You started sobbing quietly and Kirishima urged you to stay quiet. All you could do was listen in on their conversation as you stayed hidden.

"Tomura Shigaraki..."

You recognized the voice as the purple fog guy.

"-one of them got away."

There was silence except for an irritated scratching noise that made you cringe.

"Kurogiri, if you weren't the Warp Gate I would have crushed you!"

You assumed Shigaraki was the man with the hands and Kurogiri was the fog guy.

"-but winning against a dozen pro Heroes is impossible even for us."

"It's game over." Kurogiri stated.

"It's game over this time. Let's go home." Shigaraki agreed nonchalantly.

Game over? Surely it can't be as easy as that... You thought, nervously biting your bottom lip.

"Wait, what about the fire cat...?" Shigaraki asked, making your ears instantly perk up.

"In the midst of everything, I had scattered her as well. Hopefully, one of our minions was able to capture her."

They're talking about...me?! Your forehead started to sweat.

"Actually, I think she's right...here."

You screamed bloody murder once you felt a hand on top of your head.

"Tsk. You really are cool, aren't you?" Shigaraki spun around to see that Aizawa had activated his quirk which stopped him from disintegrating you. "-Eraser Head."

Even though he was in terrible condition, his eyes burning and blood-shot red, Aizawa was going to do everything in his power until he was dead to protect his students.

"Run!" Aizawa managed to groan out before the bird monster smashed his face into the ground.

You ducked and rolled away, taking the opportunity Aizawa created for you to escape Shigaraki's grasp.
