When the time came to hear the results of the cavalry battle, you were shocked to find out that your team was in fourth place.
"Todoroki was clearly shaken by your attack. I had hoped to get the ten million points, but even so, I got one." Tokoyami explained with a thumbs up, revealing that Dark Shadow was able to snatch a headband from Todoroki when you had gone up to attack him with your fireball.
You and Ochaco cheered while Midoriya, who was next to the two of you, broke down on his knees, crying in happiness.
Out of pure joy and reaction, you couldn't help but turn to the teary-eyed greenette and throw your hands around his neck, almost squeezing the life out of him.
The second Midoriya was able to gasp out a breath, he thanked you through his tears.
"Yeah, I've never been so happy to be in fourth place...again!" You released Midoriya as he wiped away his tears and you both laughed.
Looking up at the sky, you were just glad that you had at least made it into the final round, but you couldn't deny that you might have been even happier to hear the announcement that it was finally time for the lunch break.

You had just finished eating lunch when you literally ran into a certain ash blonde while you were just wandering around, trying to walk off the food in your belly.
"OI! DO YOU WANNA DIE-" He stopped mid-sentence, shutting up and face resorting to a scowl when he realized it was you.
"Oh, hey. Um, good job getting second place in the cavalry battle..." You looked down, tugging on the hem of your shirt and trying to start a small conversation.
But once those words left your lips, you immediately regretted saying them and wanted to bite your tongue because you knew he'd be pissed.
He cursed, giving a frustrated growl that made him sound like a rabid animal.
"I WANT AN INDISUPTABLE FIRST PLACE!"
"B-But you were amazing...you lost your points and gained them back and then some! I'd say your performance was beyond plus ultra..." You tried to diffuse the explosive boy's temper by sending him a reassuring smile.
Gazing back up at the crimson eyed boy, you saw that his lip was pressed into a thin line and that the scowl on his face had softened by a hair. Pursing your lips together, you wondered what was going on in his head.
Bakugo was used to people calling him 'amazing' his whole life, and hearing you say it meant something special to him. But at the moment, it was hard to fully appreciate your words because he also still felt a pang of jealousy somewhere in the pit of his stomach, and he absolutely hated it.
Maybe it was even worse than the feeling of only getting second place.
"SHUT UP! WHY'RE YOU ALL OF A SUDDEN TEAMING UP WITH THAT FUCKING QUIRKLESS DEKU!" Bakugo suddenly exploded, clenching his fists in frustration.
