A/N: Even up to the end it's still unedited...

The corner of your lip remained upturned as your attention anchored away from the ground, e/c eyes slowly rising to come face to face with liquid pools of turquoise and grey.

The look in those mismatched orbs were already soft and full of tenderness because the two toned boy hadn't stopped gazing at you ever since you took him by the hand.

You let a small frown slip for a brief second, becoming a little disheartened because they weren't the piercing and magnetic red eyes of the boy your heart had been desperately yearning and truly longing for.

But maybe this is for the best...so it won't hurt as much-

"Thank you...Shoto." You whispered, small smile curving on your lip once more when you were both at the end of the runway.

Todoroki opened his mouth, wanting to say something in return but opting for just a warm smile instead since the two of you got distracted when the roar of the audience boomed, louder than it had ever been this entire night.

Bakugo found himself standing silently apart from the others, the sound of their chatters quietly dying out from around him. He watched you and Todoroki from behind but wrenched his eyes away to look down.

A hollow expression surfaced when he pressed his fingers to his lip because he could feel it trembling slightly. Though he had tried to stay strong and maintain the glare on his face, his body was betraying him and showing the fact that he felt hurt inside especially when he heard you call Todoroki's name instead of his.

Bakugo's hand slipped down from his face, curling into a tight fist. His head shot back up in confusion, hand back to his side when the crowd wildly burst out in cheers. His jaw clinched, forehead puckering when he saw it was because you and Todoroki were leading the final bow for the show.

"Ah, come on Bakugo! That's our cue!"

The ash blonde felt a hard pat on his back, barely catching Kirishima scamper right past him and take his spot at the end of the runway next to Sero. Instead of following after the red head, Bakugo clicked his tongue, sick of seeing you and Todoroki together hand in hand again. With a heavy heart and squinty eyes, Bakugo finally tore his gaze away from you two, shrinking back behind the curtain which kept anyone from noticing that he quietly snuck away and left the theater.

Bakugo's head was swirling with too many thoughts, stopping in his tracks for a moment to try and calm himself down and regain his composure because this time, his whole body was shaking.

How could she...how could she pick him? He clutched a hand over his chest because he swore he could physically feel his heart aching, hating how his eyes were beginning to water.

He messed with one of the accessories on him, finally fed up and uncomfortable with the outfit he still had on and just about ready to rip it off his body. Since he was too lost in his own thoughts, he didn't notice the man and woman, who's backs were turned to him at the end of the road at first. He dropped the accessory, letting it fall again when he heard them both talking to each other.

From the back, the man appeared muscular and quite tall with h/c (your hair type) hair. The woman next to him was wearing a floppy wide brim hat.

Bakugo squinted at it after sniffling and wiping the corners of his eyes with the back of his arm because he found it a bit suspicious since it was the middle of the night. He opened his mouth, about to ask them what they were doing but he shut up when he heard the woman utter your name.
