Bakugo and Todoroki had just walked the runway, one after the other.
Bakugo was first and being Bakugo, there was no short of him showing off. He made quite the performance, not going lightly on the theatrics especially when the audience encouraged him by cheering and clapping. Honestly, he looked like he was having the time of his life with all the praise he was getting.
You couldn't help but sigh, smacking your forehead at the sight, but there was an irrevocable and unceasing smile on your lips.
Todoroki was next. He looked a little unsure of himself when he first walked out but then there was a roar of applause and squeals and he seemed to find confidence from that.
You had to admit you were a bit jealous by all the girls sighing and fawning over him, but it couldn't be helped because even though he obviously didn't realize it himself, he was a heartthrob.
Plus, being Endeavor's son put him in the spotlight more often than not.
You spied a small smile on Todoroki's lips right before he walked proudly down the end of the runway. The smile you had on yourself faded though when at one point both Bakugo and Todoroki had to walk past each other on the runway. You clamped up, holding a breath when they did walk past. You saw their eyes connect, mini lightening bolts shooting at each other briefly but that was it. You exhaled, glad to see there wasn't going to be a showdown.
"y/n, you're on next." Kaminari poked his head, grinning sheepishly at you.
You parted your lips to say something, but you felt your throat go dry.
It didn't matter much though since he had already gone back to focus on his assigned MC role.
"y/n. You're about to go on, huh?"
You turned around after feeling someone put a hand on your shoulder.
"Aizawa-sensei!" The anxious face you unknowingly had on was wiped away and replaced with a smile.
Even your lazy Homeroom teacher was a little more dressed up for the occasion today. Not as formal or proper as when he went to visit the U-A student's families or when he had to do press conferences, but he managed to put on a button up shirt, blazer, dress pants, and dress shoes. He kept his hair down and loose though which made his appearance very 'Aizawa' like.
You didn't give him time to say anything, running up and knocking the wind out of him with a hug.
"Oi. You act like you haven't seen me-" He managed to say.
Your lips pressed together into a frown, you clinging onto him even tighter.
Who knows when's the next time I'll be able to- You forced back the lump in your throat, finally releasing him from your hold.
