Chapter 41

Hayley's POV
"Who the fu-" I was cut off by the women who called me a while back about keeping Skylar safe.
"Listen to me and listen carefully they are going to your house in 3 days at night. I know you just got home from tour last night but you do what ever the fuck you gotta do to keep Skylar safe do you hear me!?" She exclaim
"Uh ...loud and clear" I said into the phone "but how do I know your not just messing with me?" I asked calmly but really I was nervous and anxious as fuck.
"Because your Hayley right?" She asked
"Yes" I answered
"They are after you! they plan on killing you and my bab- your daughter. I'm supposed to be helping them come up with something to take you down but they just want to kill kill kill" she said into the phone. This made my knees shake and my palms get clammy. I sat down in the toilet lid and held the phone closet to my ear.
"Oh ...ok" I said not really knowing what to say.
"They said they wanted to take care of you soon so I suggested 3 days from now at night to give you time to get your shit prepared and so I could call to warn you. I dont know at around what time but I know they will text you aswell...yes I know about the texting and the harassments and all that other shit...look I don't have much time but just expect them in 3 days" she said and It wasn't till now that she again like the last call, was out of breath.
"Whats your name?" I asked
I herd her breathing in and out heavily then the line went dead.
"Are you fucking kidding me!?" I nearly yell jumping to my feet from the toilet seat,
Chris' POV
"Are you fucking kidding me!?" I hear Hayley say in the bathroom. I stood up and walked to the bathroom knocking on the door a little loud.
"Hayley open up" I say sternly.
She opens the door and steps out she; looks scared worried and shocked.
I cup her face "baby are you ok?...is something going on?...is everything alright?" I asked worried.
She grips my wrists and shakes her head. "No baby everything's fine ...for now" she whispered the last part looking down and Im sure she didn't intend for me to hear that.
"What?" I ask.
"Babe I'll tell you later" she said looking at the clock "I'm just so tiered now ca- can we just go to sleep?" She asked
I decided to drop it and let her get in bed.
"Yeah baby ..sure" I said hopping in with her and kissing her cheek and neck while wrapping my arms around her small frame. Her body was stiff but soon relaxed as she cuddled into me. Letting sleep take over us I quietly whispered
"I missed you" and soon fell asleep

I woke up and checked my phone under my pillow. It read 3:45 pm. I turned in bed and Hayley still laid next to me. She had her back towards me and her arm over Skylar. She looked really tiered last night so I don't want to wake her. I moved her hair out of her face and kissed her cheek.
I walked into the bathroom with my towel and clothes. I took a quick shower and pulled my boxers on then my skinny jeans. I noticed I forgot my shirt and went back into the room. I quietly walked over to the vanity chair where my MisFits shirt lay. As I pulled it over my head I herd a faint whisper.
"Bur bur" I turned around to see Skylar sitting up on the bed staring at me. "Tah?" She whispered again to me.
"Aww ...good ...afternoon baby" I whispers to her and picked her up.
"eh" she said in my arms.
"What is it?" I asked her bouncing her in my arms lightly.
"Boo" she said reaching past me over to the bed I turned around and of course she was reaching for her bear.
"Oh" I chuckled and kissed her temple while grabbing her bear. "Come on you must be hungry" I said tickling her side just to have her chuckle. I thenwalked down stars.
"Hey Chris" Cassie greeted me. She had her back towards me or else she'd be all over Skylar.
"Hey" I said
"Boooo" Skylar whispered looking at her bear in her hands. She seemed to be trying to pull the arm off.
Cassie turned around and gasped loudly.
"Is that....MY BABY!" She squealed scaring Skylar half to death. Skylar jumped dropping her bear and immediately pouting and having tiers in her eyes.
"You scared her Cassie" I said hugging Skylar.
She buried her face in my chest and lightly sobbed.
"No no no no baby I'm so sorry I'm just happy to see you" Cassie said to sky grabbing her little foot and shaking it. Skylar only tucked her feet not wanting Cassie to touch her.
"Mm!" She grunted and shot a glare at Cassie. I did NOT know she could do that. She looked so adorable and I laughed. Hugging her again.
"Here baby" Cassie said handing her the bear. Skylar took it still looking angry at Cassie. "Can I hold you?" Cassie asked
"Mm!" Skylar said gripping my shirt in her tiny hands.
Cassie began to pout sticking her bottom lip out and pretending to cry in her hands Skylar stared in awe.
"What did you do Sky? You made auntie Cassie cry" I gasped looking down at her.
She reached out for Cassie's arm but couldn't reach. Cassie still pretended to cry. I stepped closer and Skylar pulled on the sleeve of Cassie's shirt. She lifted her face and Skylar open and closed her palms. Cassie gladly took her from me and hugged her and kissed her all over making her giggle chuckle and laugh.
"I missed you!" Cassie squealed at the child.
"Your gonna scare her again" I chuckled as I made her a bottle.
"Hey fools" Ricky said walking in
"Reee!" Skylar yelled smiling.
Ricky's eyes went wide and he began to turn around slowly then just jump to face Cassie. "Yeah she's home!" Ricky said happily. "Let me hold her!" He gushed
"No she's mine!" Cassie said moving Skylar away.
"But I wanna hold her!" He pouted causing Skylar to laugh. "Gimme!" Ricky said
"No!" Cassie said holding Skylar closer making her laugh harder.
"You guys! she's gonna get hiccups!" I wined.
"I still wanna hold her" he said throwing his arm out to her. She did the same and opened and closed her palms giggling showing off her 2 front teeth.
"Yess!" Ricky whispered as Skylar was handed to him.
"Hey beauty... Have fun on tour?" He asked as the microwave beeped letting me know the bottle was ready. Hayley taught me to always shake it then put a drop on the back of my hand to see if it was to hot for her. It felt just right.
"Damn Chris....I never thought you'd be a daddy" Cassie chuckled.
"Yeah same here" Ricky agreed fixing Skylars shirt.
"Well...we all grow up don't we?" I laughed. "Do you wanna feed her?" I asked him.
"Not its ok you can do it" he said handing Skylar to me.
I felt them watch me as I grabbed a bib and laid her in my arms. I put the bottle in her mouth and she grabbed it holding it up. I put the bib under her chin and tucked it in her neck.
"Wow you really are a daddy" whispered Ryan sitting down at one of the breakfast bar stools.
"Only cause I love her" I said looking at Skylar and brushing her hair out of her face. I didn't notice when Ryan came in.
"Aww" Cassie said resting her hand on Ricky's shoulder then her head on top of it.
"You know ...I wouldn't mind being a father figure to her... And I would wouldn't mind her being my daughter... She so calm and caring she so cute and goofy" I said looking at her green eyes. "She also for some weird reason has a lot of Hayley's features...like she has Hayley's same eyes... She has her round shaped face and she has cute ears....are you sure she adopted her?" I looked up at the guys. Cassie was seasoning some raw chicken Ryan was eating an apple and Ricky was just sitting next to him at the bar stool chairs.
"Yeah she showed me the paper work one time and I think Kim went with her to the police station when they did" Cassie said turning around.
"I looked down and Skylar was halfway done with her bottle. She looked me in the eyes then reached for my hand.
"Hey you think Hayley's gonna be excited for the puppies?" Ryan asked excitedly.
"I was!" I said holding Skylars fingers but then just hovered my hand over her as she traces my tattoos.
"Is she still asleep?" Cassie asked
"Yeah at least when I left the room, they all came back at like 5 in the morning" I said
"Yeah Allie and them came home late none of then are awake yet" Ryan pointed out.
"Speaking of her Hayley told me they had a story to tell me" I said
"Hey yeah Allie said something about 'it was a crazy night' but that she would tell me when she woke up" Ryan said
"When is tour not crazy?" Cassie asked
Skylar finished her bottle so I sat her up wiping her mouth from the milk that dripped from it then placing her against my chest so she could burp. I lightly taped her back as she hugged her bear and stared around the room.
"Yeah" Ryan said "hey remember when we fought those guys at that gas station that one time?" Ryan asked chuckling
"And Frank had to pull out his brass knuckles on that one guy" I laughed
"And I got that dudes blood all over me" Balz said entering the kitchen
"I wasn't in the band yet right?" Ricky tried to remember.
"Nope" I said as Skylar let out a loud burp.
The guys chuckled and Cassie said "aww"
"So what are you making for tonight ?" I asked Cassie.
"Well I was thinking since all we've been ordering is pizza and wings lately I thought I would make u guys chicken and pasta" she said
"Tell me how I met you again" Ricky said smiling at Cassie and resting his elbow on the table and his chin in his hand.
"Um...I ....Hayley brought me to your guys house and I walked in on you getting pantsed" Cassie blushed. Turning around and continuing to prepare the food.
"Oh...yeah.." Ricky said blushing with embarrassment and the turned around to punch Ryan.
"Ow what was that for!?" He exclaimed rubbing his arm.
"For pantsing me!" Ricky replied
With that I went into the living room with Skylar in hand. I sat down on the couch with her in my lap but she quickly got uncomfortable. I sat her in the floor and she crawled to the the tv. I watched as she stared at the stereo under the tv. Amazingly she turned it on and music started to play softly. Pretty Suicide by 18 visions started to play and she stood up and began dancing...well mostly hopping. I pulled my phone out and started to record her. The song ended and she turned around and clapped her hands I stopped recording and clapped my hands for her. She giggled and sat down on the flor as the guys joined me. I picked up the stereo remote and turned on a slipknot song. It was People = Shit. She lifted her head and stood up again.
"Hey guys look" I said not taking my vision off Skylar. She began to softly head bang and pump her arm up.
"Aww" Ricky laughed.
"She's completely adorable" Ryan laughed. I recorded her again. Head banging and hopping around. She was giggling through out most of it.
"She must have watched their set every night man. She has the head bang on point" Balz said.
"No doubt" I chuckled as she ran to me laughing.
We settled down and watched tv till the remaining people decided to come down stairs and join us. Slowly the guys joined us. Kevin Kim Angelo Kelly Devin Kylie. They all sat around the living room. Allie Josh Sabrina joined later as well. I went to the kitchen to get something to drink while Skylar hug out with Devin. He was extra excited to see her. I was pulling a monster out the fridge when I felt arms wrap around my waist and a head being placed on my back. I turned around in their arms to be greeted with a purple head and green orbs.
"Hey beautiful" I smiled wrapping my arms around her.
"Hello handsome" she giggled.
I kissed the top of her head and hugged her.
"Did you sleep well babe?" I asked
"Better than that bunk in the bus" she said letting me go.
"True" I said agreeing "ohh so what is this famous story that you and Allie want to tell us" I asked popping my monster open.
"Ohh I'll tell you during dinner" she said smiling.
"Aww I kinda wanted to know too" Cassie said as she leaned over a pot.
"Aww you're no fun" I pouted.
"I will be when I tell you what happened though ...and what I went through" she half smiled.
She turned around and tried to walk away but I caught her by her waist and stopped her.
"Should I be worried?" I whispered in her ear.
"Nope" she whispered back turning her head and kissing my cheek. I let her go and we walked into the living room to see none other than Kuza sitting in my seat.
"Kuza!" I said
"Hey man! What's up" he said getting up to bro hug me.
"Nothing just the usual recording. What are you doing here man?" I asked
"Oh babe I invited him to spend thanks giving Christmas and new years with us!" Hayley smiled
"I hope you don't mind man" Kuza said looking iffy.
"No not at all man the more the marrier right?" I laughed. He just laughed along with me taking a seat I sat down next to him and pulled Hayley to sit in my lap. Cassie got up and went to the kitchen for a while then came back to tell us the food was ready.
"Yes I'm hungry" Hayley said getting off me and grabbing Skylar
"Ree...re re re re!" The little child screamed and waves her hand while dancing in Hayley's arms.
"No" I told her sternly. Her eyes went big and she began to look upset.
She put her head in Hayley's neck and got quiet.
"Chris!" Hayley wined.
"Sorry I was joking... But it was funny though" I laughed tickling Skylar making her lift her head giggling and squirm in Hayley's arms. "I love you!" I said kissing her cheek.
"You guys are so cute like seriously" Kelly said looking at us.
"Cute. It's PUPPY love" Ryan said putting emphasis on the word "puppy"
"Oh that reminds me babe I have a surprise for you!" I smiled at her and pulled her chair out as she came to sit down. I took Skylar and put her in her high chair kissing her head as I took my seat next to Hayley.
"Ooo yay! I love surprises!" She said clapping her hand.
"Your gonna love the surprise" Ricky said from across me.
Cassie came and put 2 large trays of chicken and pasta in the middle of the table. Then she came back it 4 big spoons and put 2 in each tray. Everyone dug in and put some on their plate then began to eat.
"Ummmff this is so freaking good!" Moaned Ricky.
"Woah there" Kim laughed
"It's like sex in my mouth" Angelo said taking another bite.
We all laughed as we ate and occasionally getting more pasta from the trays. We joked around and talked about tour and how it went.
"Hayley what about the thing about last night about us about Asking" Kim said laughing
"Oh" Hayley said looking at her band mates and they all began to laugh. Everyone who went on tour was laughing even Kuza and everyone who was home just sat there quietly confused. "Oh that" she said letting go of her stomach.
"Yeah" Kim said wiping a tear
"Ok so for our tour prank we..." Hayley went on and told us they were pranking the guys who were on tour with them. She said that they water ballooned Of Mice and TPed Asking bus.
"So there I am pulling Sabrina out of their sunroof and then my belt gets stuck. So everybody scurries for the bus as Asking is coming back from their set and all I'm thinking is 'what the ef am I going to do if I can't get off?' And when I do get my belt unstuck Asking's bus is already on and about to take off" Kuza said telling us what had happen. "But when my belt got stuck, her arms was under me so we were both screwed and when we got free we were still stuck up and by the time she wanted to jump it was too late and the bus was moving" Kuza laughed
"Mean while I was behind a tree like 'damn we really did it now' my heart was beating a thousand miles per hour so I start running for their bus and when they stop I was like 'yes now get the hell off and jump' but now as soon they tried again the bus started up again." Hayley said
"So you guy were still on top of their bus ?" Ryan asked wrapping a protective arm around Allie.
"Hell yeah" Kuza said
"So I run to our bus and Sabrina speeds after them and I climb our own bus' sunroof and I'm thinking 'wow just like in the movies ...except I have to make it so that we don't fall and break our faces'" Hayley laughed "when I got to the top I told Allie to jump but she said I was to small!" Hayley said sticking her tongue out at her playfully. I wrapped my arm around her waste and make her sit on my lap.
"Out of no where I get called up to help her jump but I was scared that we were gonna fall ...I just didn't wanna show it though" Zack chuckled. "She threatened me too!" He laughed and everyone joining.
"So I jump and all I'm thinking is yes I'm alive now time for me to get off this bitch before I fall. so me and Zack went back into the bus" she smiled.
"Yeah so then it's just Kuza and me ontop of the busses and I'm scared to death and when I finally get him pumped enough to jump guess what...there just so happen to be a stupid efing bridge. I just fall on to my stomach and tell Kuza to get down" Hayley smiled at Kuza hugging my arms.
"Yeah and when I turn around we were only a few feet way from it so I just fall back on my back till we pass the bridge" Kuza shrugged
They finished telling us how Kuza jumped and how Skylar was crying and worried and we all just laughed.
"So what was that surprise you had for me?" Hayley whispered as everyone fell into their own conversations.
"Oh right" I smiled "are you done eating ?" I asked
"Yes!" She nodded.
"Ok bring Skylar....hey guys? the guys and I have a surprise for Hayley and she can do what ever she wants with them she can keep them sell them give them away... And so on" I smiled at her but she just looked confused.
"Them?" She whispered.
"Yeah let's go!" I said grabbing Skylar and taking Hayley's hand.
"Surprise time!" Balz said enthusiastically as everyone followed us.
We walked into the room where we had the puppies...yes actual baby dogs. Amy was pregnant and she have birth while Hayley was away. I didn't tell her because I wanted to surprise her. They were in a big box...there were 6 puppies in there but 7 dogs if you include Amy.
"Shhh!" I said turning to everyone.
"Why do we have to keep quiet?" Hayley whispered.
"Cause babe...you'll love them" I said kissing her head.
There was a blue blanket the vet gave us after she checked the puppies and we threw that over the big box. We all gathered around the box and the guys all had big smiles in their face with the exception of Kevin Zack and Kuza.
"What's in their?" Kim asked.
I slowly pulled the blanket off to revile 6 sleeping puppies and a tierd looking Amy. She looked up and wagged her tail as she saw Hayley. We let Amy out to feed her and so Hayley can show her some love.
"Who's a mommy?" Hayley asked her petting her and hugging her.
"Where's Max? Has he seen this?" Hayley asked in awe as she stared at the puppies.
"I don't think so...he around somewhere" I answered.
"Their so small!" Allie said looking in
There were 2 plain black huskies and 1 plain grey one and 2grey and black and 1 grey and white.
She reached in for a plain black one and pulled it out.
"Awwww" everyone said along with her."there to many for me to keep them all....does anyone want one?" She smiled looking around.
"Can I have one" Kuza asked.
"Do you want this one or a different color?" She asked
"I kinda like this black one" he said slowly taking it from her hands. It began to lightly bark. "It's so cute" he said petting it's head.
"welcome to the soft side of Kuza" I laughed
"shut up Chris" he laughed
"Does anyone els want one ?" Hayley asked
"If I'm aloud" Kevin said
"Yes of course fool" Hayley joked.
"Can I get one?" Zack asked shyly.
"Come right over" Hayley and laughed "but no one can have the other black" she giggled. I wrapped my arm around her waist as she carefully handed her puppies away.
"Anyone else?" She asked.
"Me!" Cassie smiled
"Babe come here" she said to Cassie. She left Ricky's side and picked up the other pup that wasn't black.
"Yay" Cassie smiled petting the puppy.
"And last one" Hayley said
"Can I have it ?" Angelo asked
"Yeah" Hayley smiled pulling it out and giving it to Ange
Hayley pulled out the last pup and held it in front of Skylar. The infant stared at the furry ball in awe but didn't move or make a sound
"Do you like it baby?" I asked Skylar.
"Boo" she whispered.
"Aww" Hayley said kissing her. "It's yours baby" she said.
"Aww" everyone in the room chorused.
"Oh hush!" Hayley laughed.
"This is the best surprise ever!" Hayley gushed rubbing the puppies head.
"But wait THERES MORE!" Ricky said
"Their is?" I asked
Everyone in the roomed had a questioning look on their face except Ricky and Cassie.
"What else is their?" Hayley asked
"Memes pregnant!" He smiled widely
Hayley's eye got so big.
"Wh- what- really???" She started to smile "this is so great!" She laughed
"The best part is ...she's due around Christmas time" Cassie chimed in.
"I already know who's getting a kitten!" Hayley said in a singing voice.
"Who?" Ricky said.
"You Allie and Ryan" Hayley laughed
"YES!" Allie yelled running over to Hayley and pulling her from my grasp and kissing her cheeks multiple times.
"Your the best thing that ever happened to MIW!" Allie said holding Hayley in a tight hug.
"Calm down the kittens aren't even born yet" Hayley laughed.
After that we all headed to the living room puppies in hand then soon enough Max and Amy came from the kitchen. A couple minutes later I saw dexter and he ran up to Hayley.
Hayley's POV
I felt something furry near my ankles and there was dexter meowing.
"There you are" I say picking him up in one hand and putting him in my lap as I sat in the couch he sniffed and licked the puppy in my hands but ignored it. Chris offered to hold the puppy for me and I let him. I petted dexter and he was purring like crazy. I kissed his head and then he jumped off my leg and wondered off to Ricky.
"I wounded where Amy's at" I asked Chris.
"I don't-" I herd something break which cut Chris off. "I think that's her" he chuckled. My heart started beating rapidly, could they have come earlier that that women said? Was my thought.
"I'll g-go check" I said a little shakily. I got up and went into the kitchen.
I walked into the kitchen and there was a plate smashed into pieces all over the floor. Meme was on the counter; meowing. I picked her up and she was heavy.
"Hey mommy soon to be" I said scratching under her chin. She meowed and purred. I rubbed her side softly then put her down and she went in to the living room. I took out a broom and a dust pan and picked up the glass pieces....I didn't want to cut my hand like I did last time. I chuckled to my self as I threw the broken glass away. I went back into the living room and cuddled up to Chris' side who was petting the black puppy in his lap. I watched as Skylar just stared at the puppy. She didn't move or speak... Her eyes were big and she was holding her hands.
"Touch it" Chris whispered to her.
But she just back away and looked at me for help. Chris moved the puppy away from her and she reached out for me.
"Baby what's wrong?" I asked her as u took her and sat her on my lap. She just put her head in my chest and hugged me.
"You think she doesn't like it?" Chris whispered. Skylar looked at Chris then the puppy. But she didn't do anything.
"I don't know" I took the puppy from Chris' hand and put it in her lap. She stared at it and tried to push it off her lap. She was trying to be nice. She then picked it up and put it in Chris' lap and scooted her self off my lap and into the floor. She crawled over to Kylie and sat in her lap and hugged her.
"I'll take that as a yes" I said
"Maybe she'll like it when it's bigger" Chris said. "She doesn't seem to have any problem with Max or Amy" Chris said wrapping his arm around my shoulder and pulling me closer. I wrapped my arm around his torso and kisses his lips lightly.
"I hope so" was all I said and we continued to watch whatever was on tv.
