Chris laid in bed with me and Skylar in between us. He loved this little girl like if it were his own. I like the fact that he does. I honestly don't know what I would have done if he didnt like her.

He was staring at her sleeping figure and rubbing his finger against her cheek softly.

"Do you want to ever have your own kids?" He asked

"I don't know I never really thought of having my own" I responded

"Oh. Kids are great. I mean yeah they're tough to raise but if you give them the right advise they will be good" he said.

"Yeah" I agreed yawning.

"You tired ?" He asked looking up.

"Yes very" I said pulling the cover over myself and closing my eyes.

I felt the weight shift on my bed I opened one eyes and Chris was gone and replaced with a pillow. Skylar was placed in his spot. And the middles was empty. The light went out.

"Scoot over" Chris said in my ear. I did so and he layed behind me. He wrapped and arm around me and he cuddled me. I turned my head and kiss his soft lips.

"Goodnight" I whispered

"Goodnight" he said.

***next morning***

I woke to an empty bed.

I grabbed my phone from the night stand and it was 11:38am. I had a message. I opened it and it read

Unknown: u won't be happy for long u stupid cunt.

"What?" I asked out loud I read the previous messages and I realized this wasn't my phone. This was Hayley's phone. Who the hell was messaging her this type of shit? I got up and went off into the bathroom. I did my business and went to my room. I got my towel and some clothes hopped in the shower I did my business again and hopped out. I put my clothes on and began to dry and straighten my hair. then i drew my eye brows on. I finishes then and did my eyeliner and eyeshadow. I put some foundation on and combed my hair to the side. I went back to Hayley's room and grabbed both phones, mine and hers. I walked down stairs and she wasn't there. I checked outside but only the dogs were out. Her car was still here. Every one seems to be asleep. I went to check to see if she was in the studio. And she was there with Zack, Kevin, Kim, Cassie and Ricky.the band was recording as if they were playing a live show and Hayley was singing. She had just started the cords to what sounds like The Way We Have Been by We Came As Romans.

"Why have we been so reckless?

Acting like we don't know right from wrong

And it's not like we didn't expect this

When we've really known all along

It could only be so long until we really felt it

We've been digging our way down instead of digging our way out"

she sang as I took my spot on a near buy couch.

"We can't keep living the way we have been

It'll catch up to us and destroy everything else as well

I know we were never perfect

But it was more than worth it

And we don't deserve it

The strain that give with the way that we live

It's taken too long for this realization

But I'm hoping we will have so many more
