Chris' POV

She's been in the ICU for hours. I'm impatient I need to see Hayley. "Mmm!" I turned around and Allie was trying to give Skylar her bottle. She began to kick a little and Allie put her down. "Mm" She said turning to me with a sad face.

She waddles over to me and reached up for me. I picked her up and she laid her head on my shoulder. I softly rubbed her back until she fell asleep.

"Cassie Varly" a doctor said which made us all stand up.

"Is she okay?" Ricky was quick to ask

"Yes sir she is being moved into a different room from the ICU and she is recovering very well" the doctor said.

"What about Hayley Hope?" I asked

He sighed and looked at the floor. "Sir we are doing everything in our hands to help her but the odds may be slim" he said giving me a sad face.

I felt tiers and I sat down on my chair hugging Skylar tightly.

"Can we see Cassie ?" Ricky asked

"Yes sir right this way" Ricky along with Allie, Kim, Balz, and Ryan followed the doctor. Everyone else stayed in the waiting room.

"She's going to be ok" Kylie said wrapping an arm around my shoulders and leaning her head on my shoulder blade.

I've been here for a long time now; a couple hours or so. the guys and everyone is still here with me I haven't seen Cassie yet though.

"Chris go see Cassie I'll hold Skylar for you" Sabrina said. Well looks like I'm about to.

I walked down the hall, room 258 is where she's at. I opened the door and Cassie's brunet hair was the first thing I noticed then a big purple bruise on her temple going around half her left eye. I felt so sad. Ricky was right next to her holding her hand up to his mouth with both his hands. She was looking at him but when the door closed behind me she turned towards me. There was a cut under her right eye and her eye was very swollen and the cornea of her eye was blood red. The corner of her mouth was a sickly yellow turning green closer to her jaw near her ear. I could see a shoe print out of that bruise. She was kicked in the face. She gave a sad smile and waved me over. She smiled so I could see her teeth but it wasn't a 'im happy to see you' smile it was a 'look what they put in my mouth' smile. She hand metal wires in her mouth. Almost like braces but even more wires covered her teeth it kept her mouth shut.

"Oh ...Cassie" I sat in the chair next to the bed on the opposite side of Ricky. I grabbed Cassie's other hand and rubs circle in the back of her palm. "I'm so sorry" I said tiers running down my cheeks. She let go of my hand and wiped them away. I sniffled and regained my composure. She shook her head no grabbed my hand and squeezed.

"I don't even know if Hayley's gonna make it" I said looking at her.

"Chris she will" Ricky said putting in his 2 cents.

"He... The doctor said-" I tried explaining.

"Fuck what the doctor said Chris!... Hayley's a fighter... She's not going anywhere as long as she can help it" Ricky said.

I sighed "I hope so" I put my head down on the side of the bed and felt Cassie lift her hand then run it through my hair.

"Why did this have to happen?" I started to cry.

"Chris come on man stop thinking like that" Ricky said "Matt was always destined to happen and I'm glad he's gone now" Ricky said.

After I saw Cassie I went back into the waiting room to wait for news about Hayley. I was sitting looking down at my hands when Skylar waddled between my legs and grabbed my hands. She moved them and put her head on my thigh.
