intro:
hi hi! hope you're doing well! today we'll be talking about stress and how to reduce it. stress is caused by a lot of things. whether it be your upcoming exams, or an argument you're having, or just life in general. i won't be writing big paragraph chunks today, but i'll be giving 50 ways to reduce stress.

1. punch something (something soft to not injure yourself
2. read a book, a long one
3. exercise, preferably with music (you'd be surprised how much mentally calmer you'd feel)
4. do yoga!!
5. go for a walk, and try to leave your worries behind
6. talk to your friends about your problems or about something to distract yourself
7. dance really energetically
8. singing can also relieve stress
9. meditating is really helpful
10. hug someone/something (a blanket or pillow)
11. paint/draw your feelings out
12. watch funny videos aka vines
13. get off your phone
14. cry as much as you can
15. sleep at least 8 hours
16. stress cleaning
17. take a warm bath
18. drink green tea
19. look at the sky
20. scream (in a pillow or someone might think you're getting murdered)
21. try a different hairstyle
22. sigh really deeply
23. close your eyes
24. look at old pictures
25. count to 10
26. look out the window and admire the little things
27. have some time alone
28. dry a de-stressing app (calm, headspace etc.)
29. do a puzzle
30. stretch
31. imagine happy/calming things
32. call a friend
33. write a letter (your friend or your future self)
34. sit in the sun
35. put a face mask on
36. eat an avocado (lowers blood pressure)
37. take a cold shower
38. go to bird early
39. play an instrument (if you have one)
40. listen to piano covers of your favourite songs
41. listen to asmr
42. organise something (clothes, stationary etc.)
43. cook/bake
44. if no one's there to hug you, hug yourself
45. light a scented candle
46. listen to nature sounds
47. smile (genuinely)
48. talk to your parents about anything
49. peel an orange (citrus scents reduce stress)
50. remember that everything will be okay
