When Connor was 14 years old Bucky sat him down and gave him the same list of rules that Paisley had. "Dad you did this when she was 15 why am I getting it a year early." Connor said as they tossed the football around in the back yard.
He sighed and looked down and said "Because Connor James I lost my virginity at 14 to a girl during a game of truth or dare. I was dared to take the girl to the closet and make out with her for 5 minutes I let my hormones get the best of me that night and we had sex. That's why I'm starting early with you then I did your older sister."
Connor said "Dad we had the sex talk and I remember you sending Paisley away cause she got pregnant to early and she had a bad attitude. But in case you haven't noticed I'm a mix of you and mom. I play sports but I'm also a great student academically. I turn down invitations to parties especially parties that I know are unsupervised."
Bucky hugged him and said "Oh my boy just keep this attitude till you graduate high school and you are on your own."
Connor said "Dad don't worry. I am a good kid."
"I know you are Connor James I just worry that's all." Bucky said as they started to toss the ball again.
That night after dinner she was doing dishes Bucky did bath time and got the kids ready for bed. He came behind her and he said "Baby you alright."
"I'm just tired.. and um I'm scared Buck Connor is such a good kid he told me about earlier I'm scared though cause the girls might not be as easy. Ava was a month old when everything happened with Paisley and Kinsey well she was in Paisley. Connor was older than them and he saw a lot of it and I think that helped him some but the little ones is what worries me" she said
"I know baby.. we just have to hope that Connor has set enough of an example since Paisley hasn't really been around them to follow." He said as he started to dry the dishes.
"I hope so. Oh speaking of Paisley she called earlier and said that her and Lincoln are coming in to see us this weekend and that she has some surprises for us." Dylan said
"Oh good lord." he said with a smile.
They finished getting the kitchen cleaned then relaxed in the jacuzzi tub in their bathroom with some beer. "I love this after a long day at work I get to do this with you every night baby." he whispered
"I love it too. It's like we get to recharge our batteries." she said
"We do baby 4 kids 3 of which is still living at home and another one is living in North Carolina with her boyfriend." he said
"Long days at work dealing with teenagers all day at work and then coaching mmm mama is tired when she gets home." she said as he started to rub her shoulders.
He chuckled and said "I know baby it's like you don't get a break I have to deal my 3 knuckle headed best friends as we decide whose blue print is better for a project."
She laughed and said "Now they get on your nerves geez where have you been."
"Hey that's not nice they are my friends and I love them but working with them is annoying more annoying then when we played football together." he said as he kissed her head.
That weekend Paisley and her boyfriend Lincoln Tarter came in and her little siblings came running up to her and hugged her. "Hey mom hey dad you all remember Lincoln" Paisley said
"I do it's good to see you Lincoln." Dylan said as she hugged him.
"It's good to see you to Dylan." Lincoln said
