(35) How Did This Happen?

The morning of the first home game Dylan was in the  bathroom as she took a pregnancy test. Bucky was downstairs in his mom's kitchen after his dad passed away him and his mom moved to a smaller house that was close to Dylan's since it was just him and her. He was eating his breakfast as he had on his home football jersey and cargo shorts. 

"Did Dylan go home last night or did she stay?' Winnie said

"She stayed. I don't know what's taking so long." he said 

He went upstairs and into his room "Baby come on breakfast is ready we will be late if you aren't done soon." 

He went into his bathroom and he saw the look of fear go across her face. "Baby breathe what is it." 

"I'm pregnant." she said 

"Shh.. baby breathe okay look at me baby breathe" he said as he grabbed her cheeks. 

"How did this happen Buck we have tried so hard to not get pregnant after I told you about my dream." she said 

"I know baby I know. But baby you also said that in your dream that my dad died over seas granted it was while I was in college but he died last year baby. Maybe in some weird way this is our fate baby we are suppose to have this baby right now. Just relax baby it's alright." he said as he hugged her. 

He finally calmed her down they walked downstairs and she ate her breakfast. She had on one of Bucky's football shirts with Barnes #34 on the back and her blonde hair in half French braids with blue and white ribbons. "You look beautiful today by the way." he said as he looked over at her. 

"Thanks" she said 

They left in her jeep cause she told Bucky that during football season they ride together to school since he had stay around after school for warm ups and team meetings and if he was to get hurt on the field they didn't have to worry about finding a way to get his truck home. They got to school and walked in hand in hand.  

She was at her locker when one of the cheerleaders had walked up to him and said "Hey Barnes looking good this year. I haven't seen you at any parties in almost a year where have you been?' 

Dylan slammed her locker and "Because he has a girlfriend Ashlynn." as she walked over to his locker. 

"Seriously you two are still together. I figured he would get tired of your ass by now Dylan I mean come on you aren't even a cheerleader anymore and haven't been for some time." Ashlynn said 

"I may not be a cheerleader anymore but atleast i'm not a fucking slut like you are Ashlynn. Bucky is taken he's mine so back off and tell the other girls too." Dylan said 

Ashlynn scoffed and said "I hate you Dylan I really do. I liked it better when you weren't popular and not dating Bucky. " then she walked away. 

Bucky turned Dylan around and kissed her against the lockers with tongue and he moaned as he grabbed her ass and he whispered "I don't think I have ever been turned on more than I am right now seeing you do that baby" in between kisses he slammed his locker shut and the found a supply closet and they had sex then went to class. 

Two weeks later they were sitting at the doctor's office. Dr Carter came in and said "Hi Ms Baylor it's good to see you. What do we have going on today." 

"I um I took a pregnancy test two weeks ago and it was positive and I'm still late and sick and my boobs are really sore." Dylan said 

"Okay let's see what we have going on." Dr Carter said
