I woke up to the smell of bacon and egg. As I went downstairs I was greeted with my half naked boyfriend making me breakfast. I gotta say, damn this boy works out. How can someone be so hot in just sweatpants and messy hair? I am lucky to say the least.
"Good morning babe." Kayden smiled as I sat down on the kitchen island.
"Morning." I replied. He gave me my plate and sat down opposite him.
"So, what do you want to do today?" Kayden asked, shoving his food into his mouth.
"I don't mind really, after this I'm gonna phone my mom and see if my dads still there. If he's gone I'll go back but if he's still there then I'll, um, I don't know what I'll do."
"You wanna go back today? Do you forgive your mom already?" He looked at me confused.
"No, I don't forgive her. It's just that I really need to get home-"
"No you don't." Kayden butted in.
"Yes I do. I need to get home and get everything back to normal. Plus I have my shift early in the morning tomorrow." Kayden just ignored my comment and went back to eating his food."You're so stupid!" I laughed as Kayden was telling me stories of his childhood. We decided to have a walk around town today because it was actually really warm.
"Come on, I was 4!" He argued. I shook my head and smiled. We walked past all the stalls that were out on display and every now and then we'd go into a shop.
"Amy." Kaydens voice shook me out of my thoughts and made me turn around only to be faced with him wearing these stupid kids sunglasses and a hat.
"Wow, just when I thought you couldn't get any hotter." I joked as he took the items off.
"God. I. Adore. You." Kayden said in between kisses as he caught up to me. I smiled as I looked into his eyes. How can someone so perfect like someone like me? I don't know but whatever it is, I'm thankful for it.As we got home I realised I didn't call my mom. I went upstairs and shut the door. On the second ring it answered.
"Oh Amy, I'm so sorry. I didn't know you'd react like that. He's gone now, please come back." She begged.
"Ok." I replied. I heard Kayden open the door and stand behind me.
"Ok? Oh my god Amy thank you. Please come home now." Her voice was hopeful with a hint of sadness still.
"Ok, I'm coming now." I ended the call and turned around to be met with a not so pleased Kayden.
"She said he's gone and I-"
"What the fuck?" He interrupted. "You're just gonna go crawling back there? She invited a man who almost killed you into her house!" He yelled. This was the first time I heard Kayden yell and to be honest, it was scary.
"Kayden, I don't forgive her, not at all. But she's my mom! I have work tomorrow. Please just take me home." I walked closer to him s that I was now only a few steps away. He stared right into my eyes. They looked like they were saying something, but I couldn't read them.
"Ok." He huffed out, opening the door and walking out, me trailing behind him.I hopped in the car and looked out the window. I know that Kayden doesn't want me to go back but I don't get why he's so angry about it; and taking it out on me. My confusion was short lived as I felt his hand slide on my hand. He didn't say anything, he just kept his gaze on the road. I turned to the window and smiled to myself at the small gesture.
"Thank you for taking me home." I said, looking straight at Kayden. He nodded his head in reply. I didn't want us to be left like this so I crawled onto his lap and put my arms around his neck.
"Are you mad at me?" I whispered against his lips.
"I'm mad at your dad." He replied, moving his hands to my waist. I hummed in response as Kayden bit his lower lip.
"I can't get enough of you, that's all." He added. I smiled and gave his lips a peck. I was about to pull away when his grip on my waist tightened, causing my body to be pulled closer to him. He deepened the kiss as my hands found his hair."I better go." I said as I pulled away.
"See you Monday." He replied, tucking a loose strand of my hair behind my ear. I nodded and climbed out of the car. As soon as I was on the patio, my mom came out it the door and greeted me.
"Oh Amy." She repeated. She hugged me tight and pulled away, her eyes searching behind me. I looked back to be met with Kaydens hard glare. My mom looked to the floor and sighed.
"I understand." She said, walking back into the house with her. I waved back at Kayden and then shut the door.
