I've heard of the quotes "life goes on" and "the world still turns", but I never understood how people could carry on after having something traumatic happen to them; well, until now. Ever since Kayden and I got back together, he's been with me every step of the way. The ups. The downs. Everything.
"Good morning babe." Kayden said as he finally woke up.
"Morning." I replied. "Are you ready for today?"
"I'm always ready. Im the best." He cheekily smiled as he kissed my forehead, getting up out of bed. Today our football team, the Tigers, have a home match against another smaller high school.

Its not that cold outside so I just wore some ripped mom jeans and a top tucked in. The match starts at 6:30, but Kayden had to be there at 6 o clock, which is why we are now waiting on the field.
"You're still my cheerleader." Kayden smiled as he hugged me from behind, kissing my neck.
"I should go and sit down. Good luck."
"Thanks and um Amy, don't talk to the girls." He nodded his head to Hannah and Becca and Lucy. I nodded and looked to the ground, walking off but being pulled back by Kayden. He pressed his lips against me.
"Now you can go. I love you."
"I know." Kayden looked out into the distance and back to me. Right now, I'm not sure about my emotions, so it's better to just keep them all inside.

"Is this seat taken?" A similar voice filled my ears.
"Go away Warren." I said, gaining a snigger from him. He flicked his hair as he looked around, focusing his attention back to me.
"You know, I like your feisty side." He laughed as he sat down next to me.
"Warren, leave." I said again. I looked at the field to see the boys getting ready.
"Ladies and gentlemen, please give it up for our one and only football team, the Tigerssssss!" Coach shouted through the megaphone, everyone in the crowd stomping their feet and cheering. The team they were up against weren't really a big team, so they were apparently meant to 'smash' the side.
"And our very own captain, Kayden Jones!" The crowd got louder as everyone clapped him.
"So you're back with that douche bag huh?" Warren asked.
"Out of anyone, you can't call him a douchebag. And yes we're back together."
"You should be careful. You don't know what he can do." He looked me right in the eyes and for the first time ever, I didn't think he was lying.
"What do you mean?"
"Kayden is messed up. Seriously." The whistle blew, meaning that the match had started.
"Well, see you later sweetie." He tapped my nose and walked off, leaving me confused.

"Come on Kayden!" I shouted. At the moment we were thrashing the Tiber team, but Kayden was making silly mistakes and was getting frustrating at himself a lot as well as his teammates.
"Matt what the fuck are you doing?" Kayden shouted, angrily pushing his hand back. Matt walked up to him and pushed him, Kayden reacting by pushing back. The coach reacted quickly as he saw what was going on.
"Ok, time out." Couch blew the whistle and the boys dispersed, Kayden and Matt walking in separate ways.
"Kayden, what's wrong? You seem a little off." I said after running up to him to meet him at the sidelines , Kayden answering by kissing me strongly.
"I'm just, im, im tired and stressed." Kayden let out a frustrated sigh. I leant up in my tippy toes, kissing his cheek.
"You've already won, just have fun." The coach told the boys to get a drink and then go back into their positions, Kayden saying goodbye and me making my way back to my seat.

A very sweaty, dirty Kayden held onto my waist as we got into his house, him shutting the door behind me.
"Im gonna go have a shower, I'll be back in a minute." I nodded my head as he ran upstairs. Even though I was trying to ignore it, I couldn't help thinking about Warrens words. "He's messed up." "Be careful." What does that even mean? I walked up the stairs into the bedroom, taking off my clothes and putting one of Kaydens tops on. I lay on the bed for a a few minutes until Kayden finally came out of the shower. His towel was wrapped around his bottom half as his hair was dripping wet.
"Hey." He said. I looked him up and down, then back up at him, only to realise he was smirking.
"Missed me baby?" He joked, causing me to playfully roll me eyes. Kayden came over to the bed and moved his hands to my waist, quickly turning me around so I was on top of him. He pressed his lips against mine as my hands traveled down his chest. His right hand on my waist slid up my top as his left hand was tugging at the material.
"I. Missed. You." Kayden said in between kisses. I tugged on the towel as as he pulled the top off, leaving us both bare. Kayden switched us round again, his body hovering over mine. He traced his fingers down my figure as he kissed my neck, reaching my sweet spot. However, just as he was about to get ready, I stopped.
"I can't. I'm not ready yet." Kayden looked at me for a few seconds before climbing off of me.
"Um, are you ok? Did I do something wrong?" He asked.
"No, no, you didn't do anything wrong. I'm just not mentally ready to start again just yet." Kayden took his top that I was wearing and put it back on me.
"I will wait however long you need, Okay? I'm not forcing you to do anything you don't want to do okay baby?" I nodded and kissed him before lying down. Maybe this boy has changed for me.
