Hallie's POV

I sighed as I flopped down on an air mattress. So far, the family seems nice, and I actually have siblings for once! Locke was two years younger than me, and Shepard was seven years from me. Yay, I get to babysit. Not really. "Hallie dear, dinners ready!!" Jessie said from downstairs. I looked up from my phone, looking around on Pinterest for room ideas, Mom and Dad were taking me shopping tomorrow. I walked downstairs and saw everyone sitting at the table, stairing and waiting. Not Rhett, he seemed to be texting someone. I sat down and we started eating. "So, Hallie, what hobbies did you like to do in Michigan?!?" Rhett said before biting into his burger. " Mmm, I was a member of an Acapella group for school. And I was a black belt in karate." "Can we fight later?!?" Locke asked me. Jessie gave him a look and he was silent.

The next day I woke up to Rhett poking me. I moaned. "C'mon Hallie!! Shopping day!" I instantly got up. "Whah.. What?!?" "Get dressed, were leaving in an hour!" Rhett said as he stood up. "Locke and Shep are over at our friend's house playing, so it's just the three of us going."
