The Awkward Dinner

Hallie's POV

I flopped down on my new bed. I wAs exausted! Rhett, his friend Link, Locke and I had just finished putting my new room together. The theme was white, teal, and lime. In my opinion, it was beautiful. I had a white, Woden bed frame that had dark wicker baskets inside it for storage, with an ombré teal bedspread on it, and one like that but lime colored in the closet. There was a big window in the middle of the wall facing outside, and we built a bench that opens up for more storage, it had a lime cushion on it with green, white, and teal chevron pillows. I had a long closet with all my clothes in it, and a white wood desk with a new Mac laptop that Link's family got me. I had some dark wicker baskets on one side of the desk, and a cool vintage-looking bookshelf dad made. Lastly, I had some white, teal, and lime lanterns hanging above my bed, the bench, and desk. "Hal! Its dinner time! We have a special surprise for you!" I walked downstairs to see everyone sitting at the table, the Neal's included. Taco night, my favorite. There was chips and guacamole too. Everyone else started eating, but I grabbed a handful of chips, crumpled it in my hand, and sprinkled it in my taco. (Yes, Aubz, that's for you) Dad and Link were watching me the whole time, it was funny and creepy at the same time. The three of us all laughed, and R&L put chips on their taco too. Soon, everyone had chips on their taco.

Link's POV

"Why had we never thought of this before!" I said. We were having tacos, with chips on them. It was awesome! Besides, We all needed to bond with Hallie, we were gonna be spending a lot of time together. It was Sunday, and Rhett and I had decided to take Hallie to work tomorrow.

After a while, we were all sitting on the couch, watching tv. "What do you wanna watch?" Rhett asked Hallie. "Mmm, how about Cosmos, I love that show" Jessie grabbed the remote and changed the football game over to Cosmos. It was kinda cool. When the silver ship came on screen Hallie said, "If that ship can travel through space and time, why doesn't it look like the Tardis???" Rhett and I just looked at eachother. "Y..you like Doctor Who?" I managed to stammer. "Yea, the weaping angels are the best" Hallie replied, grabbing some popcorn out of a bowl. "This is probally the best day ever" I said to myself. "Hal, we have a surprise for you..." Rhett said grabbing a wrapped box. Hallie took the box and unrapped it, showing the mythical beast patch, our logo, and the Tweak logo. She looked confused ad she read the patch. "Uh, mythical beastleniss?!? What is that?" Hallie said, seeming very perplexed.
