Hallie's POV

In the darkness around me, there were faint flashes of light. I couldn't move my body, I was stuck. Immedentally I thought, "Rhett. Save Rhett." I regained control of my thoughts, and turned.

Rhett's POV

"Right this way Mr. McLaughlin. Hallie is in stable condition, possibly a sprained wrist or something to that effect, but she is a-ok. Well, from when we last checked her, she was unconscious... But no worries!" The nurse said to me as I sat next to Hallie on the chair next to her bed in the hospital. I hated hospitals, I always have. "Hallie, I love you." I paused, "Please, for me. Wake up for me." Suddenly, she started twitching. I jumped up nervously, and grabbed her hand, It was the closest thing to me.

Hallie's POV

Dad was pinned on the ground by something, no ideas what. I sprinted towards him, and dove to tackle the thing on him. A black, hooded figure and I tussled and rolled across the white marble floor. I shifted me weight and pivoted onto my side, and kneed the hooded figure in the chest, and he faded like an ink blot. "Comfort will come..." I heard someone say. I felt something grab my hand, and I squeesed it tight. I opened my eyes and saw dad, holding my hand, tearing up. "Sir, we have to ask you to leave." A nurse told dad. He nodded and walked out of the room and doctors came in.
