And, done. I had finished signing all of Hallie's release papers from the hospital. Then I got a text from Link.

Have you told Hal yet? C said she's all good 4 2nite, you?

I thought and texted beck.

No, she doesn't know, all good for tonight

Ok, good. I walked into Hallie's room just as she finished gathering her stuff.
"Oh, Hallie?"
"Yeah?"
"I have something to give you..." I said as I pulled out the lanyard. She took it and looked, then gasped.
"Oh. My. God!!" She yealped as she embraced me in a hug.
"C'mon, let's go home." I told her. We went downstairs and to the car. About a half hour later, we were home.

As soon as we opened the door, Hallie and I were pelted with NERF darts.
"Team Epic verses Team Dad and Hallie!!" Locke roared as he reloaded his blaster. Then Shep and him threw us each a gun and extra darts. Hallie instantally cocked the rifle and shot them away.
"You better run!" She yelled. I could hear the boy's footsteps upstairs, making a plan. Hallie and I decide that we would split up, she would go upstairs and distract the boys, and I would come in and unleash nerf heck on the boys.
"Go!" We whispered. Hallie ran up and into the boy's room, she shot about a quarter of her ammo and pretended to be out.
The boy's faces were priceless when I shot them. When I knew I was close to out, I gave Hallie a wink and she shot out the rest of her ammo.
"Boys! Hallie! C'mon! It's time to go to the Neal's for dinner!" Jessie yelled up. I had almost forgot that Link and I invited some of Hallie's favorite youtubers to her party! This was going to be fun... I checked back at the guest list.
