Hallie's POV
I sat next to dad in the hospital, my right hand holding Dad's, and my left scrolling through Twitter. They had found me, and I was falling apart from the inside out. See, I'm good at hiding my feelings from people, but the more I did, the more it hurt on the inside. My mind was falling apart, but you couldn't tell from looking at me.
"Miss Hallie, are you ok? You haven't left your father's side. We believe he will wake up soon, he is in a heavy slumber. We can tell you when he wakes up if you're wish." A nurse told me. I didn't want to leave his side at all.
"No, I'm fine." I told her. I made the mistake of looking back down at my phone.
