Hallie's POV

In my dream, I kneaded on a board in the middle of the ocean, waves splashing onto me, sending salty spray occasionally high enough to to reach my face. The vast ocean spread around me, and I turned my head behind me. I saw dad smiling, waving at me. I felt urged to travel further, to catch my first wave. I pivoted onto my stomach, and used my hands to push myself closer to the big waves. The water of the ocean enveloped my hand as I glided it easily through the water. I slowly kneaded again, thinking back to yesterday. I remember Tyler's soft, warm touch when he hugged me, comforting me, attempting to make me feel better about my past. I felt my eyes watering again, so I wiped my hand on my eyes, burning them for a small second from the salty water. The experience right now felt alien to me, I had never been surfing. I has gone paddle boarding at our lake house one or twice, but never surfing. My thoughts distracted me from dad yelling at me.

I was jolted to the side off the board. I felt a sharp pain in my forehead, everything want black. I'm pretty sure that I felt dad grabbing me, pulling me out of the water. 'Wake up!' I told myself. This wasn't a dream, it was real life.

Ooohhhh!!! Cliffhanger!!! Hope ya like, and be sure to check out my Tobuscus fan-fic!! Cya! Stay Mythikal!
