Before you read I would just like to say if you have never seen Mulan its a need to wacth thing its one of the best movies ever. I heart it so much!!!

." It's been so long Payton I thought you would never come back to us... by the way the kids have been asking for you why havnt you been by" My nurse/ friend Janice asked. She was in her mid thirties with shoulder length raven black hair and green eyes that could stop a truck.

"Um yeah I have really missed them to. Grace has some great stories to tell them, so they are in for a treat today." I said smiling a little remembering that after my tests were done and my checkup was over I could go play with them.

"Well that's great you should tell me some of them Grace ..and that still doesn't answer my question." She said smiling at Grace and then giving me a pointed look.

My face dropped and Grace grabbed my hand and gave it a reasurring squeeze.

"Oh hunny I'm sorry what's the matter?" She said pulling up my chin after noticing my sudden mood change.

I looked in her eyes and almost cried. " I ...I  think that it is back." I said

Her face dropped and her eyes watered. She pulled my in for a hug....like if she held tight enough it would be alright.Shee was a sweet woman and I hated worriyng her with this kind of news. We stayed like that for a while before she pulled back and wiped her eyes.

" Well I have done all I can do. I should go get cleaned up and call for the doctor to finish up here then you need to rest a little before playing with those children." She said with a sad smile an slowly walked out. I could tell she was hurt by the news but I also saw the small glimmer she had in her eyes.

I looked at Grace and she was still holding my hand trying not to cry. She gave me a small smile and than started making faces at me. I did the only thing one can do in that situation....I started a funny face war. It helped cheer me up tons and I saw that she didnt seem as doom and gloom as before either. After a while we just burst out laughing.

A few minutes later Dr. Lawrence walked in. She gave me a smile. She was a Middle Aged doctor but she was great. She had beautiful long brown hair and laugh lines from where she smiled so often. We were pretty close since practically  lived here for a few years.

" I would ask how you are Payton but I ran into Janice an I am afraid I don't want to hear the answer.... so let's finish up in here so you can get to those kids." She said her face slightly falling.

As she finished the tests Grace didn't let go of my hand once.

"Okay Payton looks like we are done here we should get your tests in about 3 weeks give or take. Let's hope for the best." She said putting her tools down and throwing her gloves out.

I really had no hope. I frowned a little.

"Payton don't give me that look. I know you and you are stronger than that. We havnt even got the results yet. There is still a small amount of hope. How long have I been your doctor?" She asked with her arms crossed.

"Umm more than ten years" I said trying to do the math. I was never good at math so that was prolly give or take a few.

"Exactly and these years that I have know you no matter what the universe threw at you not once. And when I say not once I mean never have you ever given up so why should you give up now?!" She said looking straight into my eyes with her soul peering lookers.
