I had woke up and like the past two weeks I decided to go visit the children. Over te two weeks it had been me worrying and Grace trying to calm me down even though I knew deep down she was just as scared and pessimistic as I was.

I jumped in the shower ready to start my day and as the hot water ran over me I let my thoughts flood through me.

Aside from all the awfulness that has happened atleast I have had friends to cheer me up. Not that they know they are cheering me up. I have had yet to tell Ellie and the others because I wanted to be completely sure. Devon.....well he was a different story.

He had been nonstop taking me out on dates and we have had a blast no matter where we were. He is really sweet and caring and boy does he kiss really good. This is why I am scared. Every day we spend I start liking him more and more, but what happens when he leaves. What if he finds out I am way past the line of imperfect and on the edge of death and leaves me heart shattered and tear stained.

Its kind of funny the things we fear in life. I am facing a possible death situation and the one thing on my mind is a boy. I am not sure if it is because I am completely girly like that or just mere fact that I will pinn all my focus on something else as long as it isnt the one thing I dont want to admit to. But than again who wants to admit that their world could be crumbling around them.

I heard my phone buzz in the distance snapping me out of my thoughts.Just realizing that I had already finished washing my hair and body practically robotically without knowing I knew I had to get out before I got pruny.....not that I would have minded seeing as hot showers and baths are the only things that make me feel better these days.

I snatched it up my phone quickly thinking it was from Devon about another date.

Wanna go get lunch?

I looked at the name realizing it was Hayden and smiled. Over the last two weeks we had become quite close. Although he is arrogant and rude he cracks me up  and is actually a good guy.

cant im heading to the childrens hospital

I said as I went on the hunt for my clothes and shoes. After five minutes of getting dressed there was no reply. I ran down the stairs and did a little jumpy majig trying to get my shoes on as I grabbed my keys and opened the door. Misjudging my shoe majigging abilities I began to topple forward. I closed my eyes waiting for impact but never felt it. Instead I felt warm arms around my waste and heard a low chuckle from above me.

After hearing the chuckle I knew exactly who it was and immediatley blushed realizing I just fell and that his arms were rapped around me. I peeped one eye open seeing a laughing Hayden above me.

I quickley got out of his grasp red as a fire truck.

"Oh is my little Payton blushing "

"shut up" I said looking down than realizing that he was here and I didnt know why I looked back up.

"what are you doing here, I texted you and said I couldnt have lunch?" I said looking at him questioningly

" Well I thought that we could grab something fast on the way to the hospital and that you couldnt tell me not to go if I showed up on your doorstep, and plus my plan worked better than I thought seeing as I savaed your life and you cant say no to your knight in shining armour." He said winking

I blushed redder than I had before , he came this whole way for me how nice.

" Well seeing as you are my hero I must say I am so hungry I am practically starving save me , and buy me some lunch" I said mockingly as I fanned myself with one hand and stared up at him like a puppy on the side of the road. Well lets just say I take weird to the next level but so be it its fun.
