-Tords POV-
I was finishing up some paperwork but I couldn't focus. I was worried about Tom. Then all of a sudden the door burst open. "Oi Listen up big bro!" I turned to see Tori and the girls. I smiled. "Tori!" I said hugging her. "Yea yea get your greasy paws off me you dog." She said pushing me away. "You might want to go after your Prince Charming because he's not doing so well." Tori said pointing back towards the door with her thumb.

I furrowed my brows. "My Prince Charming?" I asked confused. "Oh cut the crap I know you like him." Tori said. I blushed immediately. "S-so what if I do? It's not like it can happen and that would be totally irresponsible and unprofessional." I explained. "Big bro Love doesn't discriminate and neither does death." She said. I was confused. "He's in love with you and he's going out of his mind because of it. He's trying so hard to get better but he can't because he can't do it alone. He wants help but it's hard for him to accept help because he's afraid from what happened the last time he let someone touch him. The last time he let someone get close. And he thinks he's just a burden, a road block in everyone's way. Someone needs to change his perspective and that someone needs to be you." Tori explained. I nodded in understanding.

"I don't want him to push me away more than he already has." I said. "Sometimes the process goes two steps forward and one step back." She said. "He's at the bookstore downtown." And with that Tori left. I sighed. I threw on my red sweatshirt and pulled the hood up and grabbed my jacket for Tom.

I ran downtown and stopped at the bookstore. I looked in the window and there he was a book in hand. Then it thundered really loud and Tom jumped. I smiled slightly. He was on edge. I could tell. He looked around and our eyes met. We held contact for a few seconds before I walked in. I sat down across from him. "I didn't know you liked books." I said. He ignored me his eyes narrowed. I sighed. "That ones a good one." I said pointing to his book. He looked up at me. "Now you want to talk? What about earlier? Am I really that repulsive?" I chuckled. "Your not Repulsive at all Tom, I was trying to get you to talk to me by being silent instead of asking you questions i left it up to you, you got to tell me what you wanted me to know, that way you were in control." I explained. "Oh..." he looked down at the ground.

"Don't feel bad you told me some stuff that is helpful so it's ok." I explained. A tear fell down his cheek. I reached out to wipe it away but stopped not wanting to scare him. He looked at me and my extended hand and leant into my touch. My hand caressed his cheek gently and I wiped the tear away with my thumb. Then I pulled away. "Tom you don't have to do this alone." I told him. He nodded. "I know." He said "how about we go get some coffee?" I asked him. He nodded. We walked outside and I put my coat on him. He tended up. "Shh it's ok, I don't want you to catch a cold." He looked at me. "What if you catch a cold?" He asked. "I'm more concerned about you then i am about me." I said with a gentle smile.

We walked taking it slow as Tom was extremely off balance without his crutches. And slowly but surely we made it to the coffee shop. I made Tom sit down and told him I'd get him something. He refused at first but I told him if he didn't let me then I'd leave right now. He complied.

I came back to the table two drinks in hand. I slid him one. It was warm. A good contrast to the cold weather outside right now. "Tord you're soaked." Tom giggles. My hair horns now draped down sticking to my forehead. I smiled because that was the first time I've heard Tom giggle. It was adorable. "I'll be fine." I reassured him. "So reading huh?" I smirked. He blushed. He shrugged. "It's a guilty pleasure I guess." He said. "It's like a distraction from the world, when I read I feel like I'm in the book with the characters on the same journey and just for a while I can escape reality." Tom explained.

I listened my hand resting on my palm as I stared at his eyes as he spoke soaking in every word getting lost in the voids of his eyes. He just told me something that I don't think he would have told anyone else... "That's An interesting thought." I spoke up. He nodded.

Then it thundered again as the rain pelted the glass windows. Tom jumped and fell but I quickly caught him. I held him in my arms. He buried his head into my chest. I heard little sniffles. He started trembling. "Not to fond of storms eh Tom?" I giggled. He growled into me. I chuckled. I helped him up. "Let's get you home." I said. He nodded. We threw our emptied cups away and started walking.

We reached Edds place. We stood there in silence. Tom was hesitating. He then turned to me. "Will I see you tomorrow for my appointment?" He asked. I nodded. "I'll always be there." I said. With a smile. Tom nodded. "Goodnight Tord." He said. "Goodnight Tom." I turned around. Smiling to myself as Tom has forgotten my jacket was still on him. He looked cute in it.

-Toms POV-
As soon as I walked in the door I was attacked. "WHAT THE HELL TOM YOU CANT LEAVE YOUR PHONE OFF OF YOU!" Edd said hugging me. I pushed him off. "I'm sorry." I said. A numbness had re-entered my expression. "Where were you?" Edd asked. "I went to the bookstore and the cafe." I said. Edd nodded. "Go get some sleep you have another physical therapy appointment tomorrow after your therapy session." Edd said. I internally groaned. I nodded and headed to my room. I then realized I had Tords jacket. I blushed. Taking it off and hanging it to dry.

I hopped in the shower refreshing myself and then shortly after went to bed.
