16: Jake and Drey

Jake's Point of View

I went to the supermarket because my mom told me to buy ingridients for our dinner.

I just got out of the supermarket and my phone rang.

"Hello?"

"Jake."

"What now Adam?"

"Your girlfriend is here with me."

"Sam?! Where is that place? Sam wait for me baby."

"Meet me at the basement, black gate. 24 Sherlock Street."

"You're so dead Adam."

"I'll surely make her suffer." he ended the call.

That stupid guy, dahil sa girlfriend niyang napaka-clingy.

I hate his girlfriend so much, biglaang nangyayakap kapag nagkikita kami.

Naging issue kasi sa school na girlfriend ko "daw" siya. Kaya nagalit si Adam at naisipang gantihan ako using Samantha.

Mess with me Adam, not Sam.

I immediately ran to my car to go Adam's place.

Drey's Point of View

"2 scoops of mint choco chips please, and add chocolate syrup."

"Here is your order, Sir. That will be 60 pesos po."

I gave her my payment and went outside the ice cream shop.

Nang makalabas ako ay nakita ko si Jake na mukhang namomroblema habang may kausap sa phone.

Hindi naman sa pagiging chismoso, lumapit ako pero nakatago ako dito sa isang puno para di niya ako makita.

"Sam?! Where is that place? Sam wait for me baby."

Aba! Baby?!
at si Sam?

He quickly ran to his car, and so as I.

I followed Jake's car, maya-maya'y tumigil siya sa isang bahay na kulay black ang gate.

He ran inside without any hesitation.

What is that guy doing there?

I followed him, again.

Sa ibang daanan ako dumaan para hindi niya ako makita.

Maingat akong nagmamasid nang...

"What are you doing here?"

"Uhh. Nothing."

"Let's forget about what happened last time. Sam's inside that room, she was kidnapped."

"What?" sigaw ko.

"Dude! Quiet!"

Maya-maya'y binuksan ni Jake ang pintuan nang dahan dahan.

Pero pagkabukas ng pinto... Walang tao.

I got so nervous when nobody was there.

We searched everywhere in the room. There was no sign of Sam here.

Jake's Point of View

Shit! Wala si Sam dito!

"Dude, anong balak mo?" tanong ni Drey.

"Let's try dun sa taas."

Palabas na sana kami ng pinto nang...

"Jake?! Where the hell is Sam?" sambit ni Adam.

"What? He should be the one asking you that." sabi ni Drey.

Humakbang ako paatras kay Drey para ibulong sakanya...

"Kaya ba natin 'tong apat na to?"

"Kayang-kaya."

Humarap na ako kay Adam at bigla siyang sumigaw.

"Find Sam upstairs!"

"You! Ikaw ang dahilan kung bakit kami nag-break ng girlfirend ko!" sigaw niya saakin.

"Your girlfriend was just feeling close dude, I don't even like her, even a little bit."

Maya-maya'y malakas niya akong sinuntok.

Anong ginawa ko? Sinuklian ko rin ng suntok.

His men went downstairs, baka narinig nila kami. They started helping Jake to knock me down.

"It's time dude." sabi ko kay Drey.

Akmang susuntukin ako ni Adam nang may narinig kaming siren ng pulis.

"F*ck! What's that?"

"Too late, Adam" seryosong sabi ko.

Hindi nagtagal ay biglang pumasok ang pulis.

"You are arrested for kidnapping. Now, come with us, the four of you."

"WHAT?!" sigaw ni Adam.

"Humada ka saken! Both of you!"

We actually had a plan while we were looking for Sam.

Hinahanap namin si Sam at nagring bigla ang phone ko. Tinawagan ni Drey si Sam at humingi ng pasensya si Sam at sinabing okay na siya dahil may lalaking tumulong sa kaniya palabas. I was so relieved about that, but there's one more thing. I have to fix this.

So, Drey and I thought of calling the police.

"Thanks dude for the help."

"Yeah no problem Jake."
