Episode 13: Liar

---Rebecca's POV---
"Abby's gotta be here." Jaiden stated. "This is the highest point of Nyx." Haley stood in front of the gold gate.

"Well shit," Haley said. "I think we died. The gates are made of gold." Suddenly, I heard someone call my name.

"Rebecca!" The person shouted. I looked over to see Abby on the other side of the gate. My shoulder wasn't stinging, so it was definitely Abby. However, I needed to be sure. I pulled out my katana and shoved it near Abby's neck, barely half an inch between us.

"How do I know you're not X in disguise?!" I demanded. Abby gulped.

"The night you recruited me," Abby said. "Just before you passed out from X's venom, you asked me if X was defeated. I responded he was. After passing out, Markiplier tried to get a hold of you, but you couldn't answer. Please, believe me." It was Abby. I know it. I lowered my sword.

"Did I do it?" I whispered.

"He's gone." Abby cried. "He is finally gone. Thank you."

"Listen," Abby stated. "There is something I need to tell you." Suddenly, someone poked her head out from behind one of the walls.

"OOH!" She yelled. "MORE MORTALS! AND REBECCA!"

"Mortals?" Den asked. "Does that mean you're a goddess?"

"I am Hera." The goddess exlaimed. "The goddess of marriage and birth."

"And Zeus' jealous wife." James said.

"The things mortals come up with." Hera groaned. "Zeus is my brother. Even the gods have standards."

"So the myths aren't true?" Adam asked.

"Not in that way." Hera stated. "Some are true, some come from the mortals' imagenations."

"Trust me." Abby said. "Zeus isn't a playboy, Hera is a free spirit, and Hercules is a show off."

"So the stories have been exaggerated?" Jade asked.

"This is weird." Lily stated.

"We've been lied to." Ethan stated.

"Wait," Patrick said. "Why did you say 'And Rebecca'?"

"Rebecca is a Demi God." Abby said. "Her father is Zeus. In fact, Zeus was on earth for a while under the identity of-" Abby was cut off by a familiar voice.

"By me." The man said. He walked over to the gate.

"Dad?" I asked. Dad smiled at me.

"Hey sweetie." Dad said. I glared at him.

"You faked your death!" I snarled. I pulled my katana and shoved it near his neck. Panic was in his eyes. Abby opened the gate and tackled me to the ground. A cold blue flooded her eyes.

"Rebecca!" Abby shouted. "He had to! X took over Mount. Olympus! He had to return from Earth!"

"He abandoned us!" I shouted.

"You were 26!" Abby thundered.

"Dad still left mom!" I shouted. Haley pulled Abby off of me.

"Would you two calm down?" Haley asked. Abby reached for her left pocket. She was reaching for her pocket knife. I know it.

"Abby!" Zeus thundered. "Rebecca! Calm down!" Abby looked over and gulped.

"Listen," Hera said. "Everybody come inside and I will make tea and explain everything."

---Third Person---
The group sat down in front of Hera and Zeus. Hera began to pour tea and Zeus looked at his daughter and sighed. Hera sat down.

"Look." Hera stated. "When X, as you call him, was created by us, he wasn't meant to kill people. However, he brought in a lot of suicide. As much as Hades like seeing the dead at his door step, he didn't want it in the mass numbers X was providing. So, in order to defeat X, we needed a hero. We visited The Three Moirai. There, we were told Zeus will go to Earth, marry a woman, and the two will have a daughter, the one who will defeat X. When we asked when, we were told that time will tell."

"Why did it take so long?" Haley asked.

"I couldn't find the right woman." Zeus replied.

"Then you met mom." Rebecca said.

"Yes." Zeus replied. "Let me tell you, she was beautiful. Hera and I agreed that your mom was the one."

"So how is it that Rebecca was chosen," Jaiden asked. "Yet she was the second daughter born?"

"Zeus came to us after Rachel was born." Athena stated. "However, we knew Rachel was nowhere close to being the chosen one."

"That was when your mom and I found out about you." Zeus said.

"The night Rebecca was born," Hera stated. "The stars danced and we heard The Moirai sing."

"We knew it was Rebecca." Apollo stated.

"However," Hera sighed. "So did X. He had to make Rebecca crack some how. He tried to destroy her in every possible way he could."

"Yet," Abby said. "You stayed strong. X had to go after potential members of Morpheus. In 2013, I became his target. However, when X realised that I was his final victim before you take him down, he had to suck all the negative energy he could so he could take you down."

"The night you faced X the first time," Zeus said. "I feared you were going to die in that battle, but I wasn't allowed to interfere. The moment he bit you, I was about to break all rules."

"But because Becca is a demigod," Adam said. "She survived being bit by the demon."

"Wow," James said. "And everyone said Jaiden was a goddess."

"STOP SAYING THAT!" Jaiden yelled.

"So," CypherDen asked. "You're the unknown force that brought (First Name) to save Rebecca?"

"Someone had to." Zeus said. "Look, Becca, I-" Rebecca cut the god off.

"You practically lied to us!" Rebecca shouted. "You lied to us for years about who you are! What else have you lied about?! Is mom a nymph?! Was grandma a greek queen?! Why should I trust you of all people?!" Abby stood up and glared at Rebecca.

"Listen Parham," Abby growled. "He didn't want to leave you guys, but X was attacking humanity. He left earth to defend Mount. Olympus. Now leave Zeus be." Abby reached for her sword. Rebecca glared at Abby and reached for her katana.
