I'm starting to get tired. I've been running non-stop for the past hour. I want to stop running, but I can't. I need to keep on running. If I stop, then it'll all end. If I stop, everything that I've done to run will be wasted. If I stop running, then I won't be able to catch up to her.

My breath is starting to get heavy. Sweat continuously falls down my forehead. My back is already drenched in sweat, and my chest feels so tight. My lungs feels like they're on fire, and my legs and feet feel like giving up. But I can't stop. I need to keep on running.

I can hear my heavy footsteps. They were very quiet until now. I'm a silent runner, but since I've been running for the past hour, it's getting louder and heavier.

The cold wind of the night pierced my hot skin. My sweat leaving a trail. I huffed and huffed, unable to keep silent as I am getting tired by the minute.

"Please! Let's just stop! I don't want to do this anymore! Let's just talk this out!" I shouted.

Silence. Silence only replied to my plea. Behind me, I heard leaves rustle as the wind became stronger. Perhaps there's a storm coming. If there will be a storm, then it'll be dangerous because I could slip and die, so would she. This won't do. This needs to stop.

"Please! I beg you! I'm tired! Alice!" I almost tearfully exclaimed.

Silence. No one replied. Again...

Pissed, I stopped and picked a rocked. I stepped back , gained momentum, aimed and threw it towards Alice who was running a few meters away from me.

*BLAG*

She fell to the ground. I slowly walked towards her as she desperately tried to crawl away.

"Let's stop this Alice" I said as I dragged her back to the house.
