A month passed. We haven't gotten anything out of Toby about the events going on, or where we could find Spencer. In fact he refused to say anything at all, my due date was approaching quickly and I was beginning to realize the babies daddy isn't going to be here for it. I was sitting at my desk typing and the twins came in. They never go anywhere without the other, and they are always hanging around with me and the little blip I'm carrying, as they call it.
"Hello our favorite person." Apollo wrapped his arms around me and i rolled my eyes.
"Hey guys whats up?"
"Well. We were hungry and when we are hungry usually you and blip are too." I smile and put my hand for assistance. If i didn't know any better i would say I'm carrying two babies. If i sit, there is no way i can get up without help. "So i was thinking, if its a boy you should name him Apollo junior." He beamed and i laughed.
"No, not even possibility. I already chose the names, with Kat's help." Apollo groaned and his brother punched him in the arm.
"What are the names?" Phoenix asked.
"Well, if its a boy Micheal Dean and if its a girl Amaryllis Marie."
"I'm team girl to be honest." Apollo beamed and Phoenix shrugged.
"I'm team healthy baby, but to be honest I hope for Deans sake its a boy. He's already a control freak, through a daughter in that and she will never know what a boy is." I laughed, its true. Ive thought about it several times a day how he would react to the gender. I'm due in a little over a week, and I have been working non stop even though i could literally pop any day now.
"Don't worry, we will find him." Phoenix pulled me into his arms, i hadn't realized i was crying. The whole pregnancy thing has made my emotions go crazy, and the fact the love of my life was missing didn't help. Tears became the normal for me.
"I'm feeling pasta. Can we get pasta?" I asked looking up at them.
"Anything for you princess." I smiled and we walked into the conference room to order lunch. I flipped the lights on.
"SURPRISE!" I screamed and almost fell, Apollo caught me. I think i pee'd myself.
"You guys do realize the baby is due in a week right? Scaring me like this? ARE YOU CRAZY?" I felt a hard kick in my rib cage telling me to calm down. Katrina shrugged.
"I told you we were having a baby shower for you!" I smiled looking around. There was a brown crib with a bow on it, hundreds of presents, a baby changer with a bow on it, a stroller with a bow on it, and a diaper genie with a bow on it. I laughed at the lack of decor. "It was supposed to be more decorated but since someone refused to find out the gender you get ducks and teddy bears because thats all i could find that wasnt girl or boy." She crossed her arms and glared at me i shrugged.
"Its not fair for me to know when Deans not here to experience it with me. Plus does it really matter? The baby is going to be loved and spoiled no matter what. Its bad enough you guys grounded me to desk duty, your not gonna take away my choices too." She sighed and hugged me before touching my belly and talking to the baby. The day was full of people getting me food, bringing me gifts, playing baby games, and helping me get everything set up in the nursery at the pack house. I sold the house and we moved into the pack house, Matt and Oliver insisted on keeping us safe. Moving was the easiest way and it made it easier to not be depressed about Dean missing. I constantly go to the bathroom to look at my mark. It recently got a little brighter, I think he's healing and getting better. Its the only thing that reassures me where he is.
I'm constantly moving, whether its just walking around the precinct or walking around the pack house, I'm just so uncomfortable and restless. So I'm either cleaning something, helping the cooks or maids, helping Matt with paperwork, or hanging out in the yard supervising the warriors training with the twins. I learned the ranks here, since Deans missing I've filled in the shoes of both Luna and Alpha, along side of Katrina and Matt. Matt is the Beta, the twins are the third in command in charge of the warriors. Dante and Reggie are Guardians and in charge of Bobbie and Kat. The twins take turns being my guardian. Apparently every female gets one until they find there mate, since mine is missing the twins took charge of keeping me and the baby safe, mainly the baby though. I was walking through the hallway when the baby kicked me.
"What the hell?" I winced from the sharp pain, he kicked me again. "What's wrong? I'm not stressed I'm just bored baby." I put my hand on my belly to calm the baby down. I continued getting the excruciating pains. The kicks leaving bruises every time.
"Help!" I cried falling to the ground. Everyone was outside or out of reach, I managed to get back to my feet and walked into the bathroom. A bath usually calms them down. I sink into the tub and relaxed. I was still feeling these cramps but they were more manageable with the water relaxing my muscles. I felt the stomach ache reach to only a few moments apart. Shit I'm in labor! I started panicking. No one could here me and I need to start pushing. I turn the water on cold to cool it down a bit so i didnt hurt the baby. Women do water births all the time right? Ive seen the videos! hopefully someone will hear my screams and get help. The temperture was about Luke warm and I held on the the side of the bathtub as i pushed through my first contraction." I breathed fore a second before the next one hit and i screamed again.
"JUNI?!" I hear someone pounding on the door. "Juni whats going on? Open the door?" Another contraction hit and i screamed
"I CANT AT THE MOMENT" I cried as the contraction stopped and breathed before the next hit. The door broke down and the twins walked in, another contraction hit and I screamed out. Apollo threw up and Phoenix knelt down by the tub.
"Okay the heads through, Apollo go get the medics, I'm gonna help her deliver this baby! KATRINA BRING ME A TOWEL AND SOME CLAMPS FROM THE MEDICAL KIT!" He looked at me "Okay princess this next contraction i need you to push really hard okay? You're at the shoulders and this is the hardest part okay?" I cried and nodded as the contraction hit and I screamed.
"GET OUT!" I screamed pushing as hard as I could. A large pressure was release and I pushed once more feeling the baby fully out. I sat back and breathed as Phoenix pulled the baby out, sucking gunk out of the airways until the baby let out a blood curdling scream. I relaxed hearing the cries.
"Its a girl." He said wrapping her up in a towel. I smiled, until a gut wrenching pain hit again and i screamed pushing again.
"Okay well theres another head so i guess we are going again, KATRINA GET ME ANOTHER TOWEL AND A DOCTOR!" I stop to breath for a moment.
"No there was only one, Phe there's only stuff for one!" Another contraction hit and I pushed hard crying. He grabbed my hand and i squeezed it.
"You can do this princess, keep pushing! Your at the shoulders, you can do this!" I shake my head and cry.
"I can't. I can't." Another contraction hit and i screamed pushing as hard as i could with my remaining energy. He reached down into the bath pulling out the second tiny human and sucked out everything in the airways.
"Its a boy!" I laid back, exhausted. A medic came into the bathroom and they wrapped me in a blanket before putting me on the gurney for the ambulance. Phoenix was holing my hand and Apollo had the twins in his arms. I smiled before letting the darkness take over and drift off to sleep.
