After a few weeks, Beca had been able to get a lay of the land. Having found an abandoned part of the University, she was able to create a small base of operations within it. It was only a small shed located behind an old block of the school, but it allowed her to store all her gear and plan everything out. She knew Chloe's lectures and pass-times almost to the second. Which was good, but she couldn't see any time she could 'accidentally' bump into the redhead without it looking very suspicious. Well there was one place, but it was very weird, and it could go extremely wrong. But she had no choice. And as she looked at her phones clock, she saw it wasn't long till then, so she got a move on and headed back to her dorm room.
Beca had stormed into her room and stripped down and grabbed her shower supplies, not even checking if her roommate was there, although rushing for a shower didn't look too suspicious so it was probably safe if she was there. As she approaches the shower block, Beca went over ways to get Chloe to get her attention, and hopefully get her to strike a conversation afterwards. She had decided on singing a song, the first song that came to her mind was Titanium. It was well known, so she would know the song.
You shout it out
But I can't hear a word you say
I'm talking loud not saying much
I'm criticised but all your bullets ricochet
You shoot me down, but I get upBeca heard footsteps move from a nearby stall. Maybe her plan wasn't the best, it was a bit weird singing in a public shower block. So she started going over other ways to get the redheads attention, but before she could she hears the curtain be yanked open, and Beca turns around wide eyed. Not a lot surprised Beca, but this did.
"You can sing!" Chloe says with a gleeful smile on her face, seemingly oblivious of both of them standing naked. So Beca turned back and pressed herself to hide her body from the redhead. "How high does your belt go?" She questions, stepping forward slightly as she does.
"My....what?" Beca stutters, having no idea what to do. There was a first time for everything.
"You have to audition for the Bella's!" She says to Beca, her smile not faltering, keeping eye contact with the brunette. Beca couldn't decide if it was more tense with the eye contact of if Chloe was checking her out. But one thing Beca did notice was a small emblem tattooed onto her right shoulder. nothing to do with The Light, as their emblems are em-blazed onto their left shoulders
"I cant focus on anything till you cover your junk" Beca says trying to pull the curtain, but Chloe grabs it and yanks it back.
"You were singing David Guetta, right?" Chloe asked and Beca smiles slightly as she decides to go along with it, seeing where this will go. As it was obvious she wasn't gonna leave.
"You know David Guetta?" Beca asked, faking surprise. She knew everyone had heard of him, but she needed the conversation to carry on.
"Having I been living under a rock? Yeah" Chloe smiles, then steps slightly closer. "That song is my jam. My lady jam" Chloe smirks.
"Thats nice" Beca said, rather awkwardly as well as this was a very uncomfortable but she couldn't let Chloe leave. She needed to make a connection to her target.
"Yeah, the song builds... sing it for me!" Chloe demands.
"Dude no!" Beca says, almost telling her to get out but she knew she couldn't send her away. She knew she was going to sing it, but being willing too could raise suspicion.
"I'm not leaving till you do" Chloe says, folding her arms. She was making this really easy for Beca, but she had no idea Beca was a member of the Shadows. If she did... well she probably would of tried to kill her by now. Beca was told what the light was like. Psychotic. Chloe then starts humming and looking around, and made clear she really wasn't going to go.
