"This is bad" Beca admits as she sat on the edge of the sofa, head in hands as her mind races. "Lucifer is going to know I didn't submit to his control."

"That's your only problem with what I just told you?" Jesse questions with a raised eyebrow.

"I'm not exactly threatened by law enforcement. None of us are. But Lucifer will know that I didn't submit, so now he's going to send the Horsemen again." She explains.

"Atleast there's only three now." Emily offers, and Beca nods in agreement.

"True, but you're injured Em, so we don't have the advantages in numbers right now." Beca points out.

"I'm fine" Emily says, but her arm was covering her stomach.

"Don't bullshit me, Em. You're not in fighting condition. Our best bet is to keep here till your healed up, then we can work on what we do next." Beca tells Emily.

"I think the two of you have not thought about what Jesse said" Chloe speaks up, and everyone looks at her as she leaned against the wall. "When you say tipped someone off of Beca's work, do you mean as a assassin or a Shadow member?" She asks Jesse.

"To the public, just a dangerous individual known for assassinations. But to law enforcement and Federal agencies, the Shadows are known." Jesse explains.

"I thought as much. Something doesn't add up here. Why would the light out the Shadows? It doesn't make sense. They have always preferred to keep them out of the spotlight, so they can operate in secrecy aswell. This is going to bring the spotlight onto the Light now. So, what's changed?" Chloe asks.

"Are we really that much of a threat to the Light?" Jesse ponders.

"I've never known the Light to make drastic measures now that you mention it." Emily admits, her eyes now showed worry behind them.

"Chloe's right. Something doesn't add up here. Why risk everything on the four of us. They've operated in secrecy for a long time now. This change of strategy worries me." Beca sighs as she stands up, walking over to the window, peering out from the corner. Her eyebrows furrowed slightly.

"Is it a bit quiet out there for you guys?" Beca asks, her hand sliding to the lining of her jeans, feeling the handle of her small knife against her palm. Emily looks at the time, it was 10pm. Even now, it should still be somewhat lively. Even a stray cat should of passed in the last ten minutes.

"How many points of entrance into the building?" Beca asks as she backs up from the window.

"Two doors, one at front, one at back. Obviously the windows as well. But that would raise questions so it's not a viable option." Chloe answers as she takes out a silenced handgun from her belt.

"What do you think we are talking? Light or Shadows?" Beca asks as she stands against the wall next to the door into the room, her knife now out as her arm was extended along the length of the wall.

"Can't be the Shadows, they don't have the force to vacate a whole block. My bet is the Light." Emily answers, sat behind the couch with her handgun ready in hand.

"Well whoever it is, ain't making it out alive." Jesse comments as he unsheathes his sword and holds it outwards. As Jesse takes his position at the other side of the door to Beca, the front door is kicked in. The sound of footsteps fill the house. Beca counted atleast twenty men.

"Find the target. Identify and apprehend. But use lethal force if necessary. Beca Mitchell is a risk to national security." A female voice echoes through the halls. Jesse looks over to Beca who lets out a small sigh. And the first man walks through to the living room. Beca uses her free hand to silence him, dragging him into the room and forcing her blade into his neck, before twisting it. The body falls to the ground next to her. Emily pears over the couch and aims her handgun through the door and opens fire. The echo of the bullet fills the house and everyone moves into action. Jesse and Beca swing around the door, Jesse bringing his sword across the chest of the closest man. Beca was able to force her knee into another man's stomach, before grabbing his neck and twisting it. Chloe and Emily then follow suit, Emily taking out each target with incredible precision, each shot directly in the middle of the chest.
