The dimmed candle at the corner of our rooms brought light upon the two naked people. We cuddled together under a quilt, my head rested solely on his naked chest. Despite last night, the night when I truly felt loved and delight, Perseus never advanced further. Though he did take of that shirt and pants, left only the undergarment on him. The touch of our skin sent shiver down my spine, making my body cold all over. Yet, in that burning heart and the aching desire at the apex of my thigh, I never truly felt cold.

I ran my finger on his chest, drawing circles and words while his hand brushed my hair slowly, another hand stroking at my shoulder.

"You should be soundly asleep after last night" he commented. "Was that not enough for you?"

"I never got to touch yours" I pouted. That only leaded him further, as the hand that was brushing my hair went lower down my back and grabbed my butt, squeezing it hard. That earned him a slap on his chest. He only laughed.

"Too greedy goddess" he murmured, kissing my forehead.

I only grabbed my arms tighter around him, let our legs tangled together even more. I didn't want to lose this moment, to let it go. I always dreamed of this, yet the moment seemed like a fluttering flame in the winter wind. I knew his position, his importance. I knew who I was, my own responsibility. But last night, and the night before proved that I was ready to sacrifice, to trade for this perfect piece of us being together.

"Perseus..." I started.

"Hmm"

"I have been thinking—" the words dangled at my tongue. "How about we just leave everything behind for awhile; moving somewhere, just us together—like this?"

He turned his eyes to mine, concern flashed in his them.

"Why do you suddenly suggest this?"

"I—I'm just thinking that with all the war and responsibilities in the Clans, it must be exhausting for you. And every time you go on a campaign like this, I just can't hold myself to stand around and do nothing. And being separated is just—"

"You are worried that I might not return."

A statement that struck right in its target. I was silent.

"How about after this campaign" his finger ran a line down my arm. "I will take you to my land in Alaska. I have my own place there, with no other Wolves to annoy you. Or you want to go to the mortal world, exploring it, your choice"

"How about Delos?"

His movement stopped. Those eyes seemed to be lost in space for a second. I was hoping that his memories could be pulled back from this. He had spent three thousand years on Leto's island. If there was any where on Earth that could bring his memory back, it would be that island.

"How come this sounds familiar" he muttered, setting a sparkle of hope in my chest. "Isn't that the prison of a Titanness? Why would you want to go there?"

"It's my birthplace Perseus" I said. "I haven't visited for a long time. There are good sceneries there and it's peaceful. Since it's a prison and quite remote, no one is going to come and bother us."

"Your birthplace only?" there was a sudden edge in his voice.

I only stared at his eyes, which seemed to have a flash of anger in them. Then he closed them and sighed. He looked disappointed.

"That person also lived there?"

"Who?" I frowned. "If the person is my mother then she's long gone. The island is empty now"
