"No!"

I screamed, stepping in front of my friends. The sentries stopped on their track.

My eyes glanced at Therion, who remained indifferent.

"They only came here because of me" I begged. I never begged to anyone except Perseus. But for them, my family I had to. "Please. Let them go, please"

"Milady, I would rather die then to let you beg!" Thalia pulled out her bow. Therion raised an eyebrow and that sent my blood cold.

I stepped forward and held his wrist. "She's just angry. I-I will apologise for her. But please let them go"

Tears were swelling up in my eyes. I knew I couldn't move the First Prince. But I had no other choice. If he wanted to kill me, I would glad to. But not my family.

"Artemis" Therion sighed, his thumb wiped away a tear on my cheek. "You know that's a decision that I cannot make. You are here because we treat you as guest. But not them"

"But they mean no harm. They only came to visit me"

"Is it?" He raised his brows. "Or to bring you away?"

I stepped back in silence. What he said was true. But now that raised another question. Why didn't he just let Paecus take me away instead? Therion never wanted me to be close to Perseus. So to have me run away with Paecus would mean my disappearance from the Clan for good. Yet, he purposely prevented this. What Perseus said was true. No one can guess what Therion's thinking.

"What's going on?"

A familiar voice. The only voice that I needed most right now.

"Perseus" I ran to him. "Save them please. Please"

Perseus looked more confused than ever. Especially with me crying over him. The other Princes now have arrived at the scene. And some of them didn't look too happy.

"Paecus" Claurion spurred. His white hair swayed in the dark. "It's been a long time"

My friend just nodded in acknowledgment at the Fourth Prince, who must have pretty guessed the situation. Though he appeared to have no interest in the story or would he care whether my friends were set free or die.

"W-Who are they?" Perseus attention went to my friends.

The hunters gasped.

"Perseus..."

My mate turned to Annabeth, his eyes sparkled and twirling. He was remembering something. It saw that opening in those eyes.

"How do you know my name?"

"That's not important" Therion commented. He knew the longer Perseus stick around with my hunters, the more memories he would regain.

"Oh you know what's important?" Thalia growled as she matched towards Perseus. My mate was still in a haze of confusion and before I could react, Thalia already landed a punch on his face. That sent Perseus stumbles sideways.

"Why haven't you come back after all this time you jerk!?" She screamed.

A few Shadow Claws immediately restrained her.

"Don't hurt her!" I cried.

Hearing my words, the sentries loosened their grip.

Glorfindel barked a laugh. "You, Olympians are truly fascinating"

That seemed to receive a lot of distaste from Ecthelion.

I went on to check on Perseus.

"Are you okay?"
