As they walked through the hallways, nothing interrupted the thick silence. But suddenly there was a loud ring, starteling both of them, although Nightmare calmed down rather quickly. Noticing Abyss' confused face, he explained :
" I forgot you weren't used to...our secureness ? That alarm is supposed to warn us if the Star Sanses come. Althoug it's specialized on detecting Dreams magic. It's probably broken, since I can't feel any positive auras around. " , that has to be it, right ? There was no way the alarm worked properly, Dream wouldn't be stupid enough to come here.
While that was what Nightmare hoped, he knew better. Dream could be very stubborn. If he really wanted something, he would get it eventually. He knew a few people that would be suprised at Dreams, not so nice, tendencies. But he would have noticed Dreams aura if he was as close as the alarm indicated, right ?
That was when the duo walked around the last corner, meeting eyes with the majority of the Star Sanses.
