Jayde
The next morning I'm awoken by the sun beaming down in my face. My eyes crack open and I'm in an unfamiliar place, I look around and the panic in my stomach subsides as I remember I'm at Harry's place. As I attempt to my over, my body is held down by an arm and all of last nights memories start to flood in with a rush.
"Shit." I mutter under under my breath and Harry's grip gets tighter as his face nuzzles into my back. The warmth of his shirtless and toned body feels all too nostalgic and if I'm being honest I don't want to leave from his embrace.
What happened between us isn't okay by any means, there's really no rightful explanation to convince someone otherwise. As bad as it sounds, it feels a lot better to be on the other end this time though. I've always been on the other end and never on this end, even though both outcomes suck however it doesn't feel as bad.
The phone alarm in Harry's pocket sounds off and startled us both. Without breaking the embrace he reaches down in his pocket Ana shut it off. I act as I'm still asleep and a few moments later he detached himself from me and sits up.
"Shit." He hisses under his breath. I slowly turn over on my back and rub my eyes to kick just waking up. When I look up I see Harry looking down at me in shock and I shut my eyes closed.
"You've got to be kidding me." I place both hands over my face and sit up next to him on the couch holding the blanket close to my body. "Did anything happen?" His gaze softens and shifts to my face.
"I'm pretty sure, nothing did. Are you sore?" Without thinking I automatically say no, not really thinking on what he's asking.
"Okay then, we didn't." Finally realizing what he's talking about I slap his arm and he begins to laugh. "What you remember how it used to be. Had you so good you weren't even able to walk the next day."
"Oh my god Harry, stop." I groan in embarrassment but can't deny that his words are in fact very true. "Can't deny it." He nudges my arm and I really can't help but to laugh along with him.
His laughter ceases as his phone begins to go off. His smile drops and he looks up to me and put his finger up to his mouth. He quickly answers it and runs a hand through his hair.
"Hey baby." As he begins to talk the smile drops from my face as well and I look away from him. From the corner of my eye I can see his gaze locked on me but I don't bother looking back.
I was so silly, this man is in a relationship. I don't know why I even did this to myself, thinking there may even be a chance, when just a few days ago we were arguing and bickering back and forth. This wouldn't work, this couldn't work.
I get up from the couch and retrieve my bag and phone from the counter. The electric company called to inform that the power wouldn't be back on for about another two or three days. I set my phone back in my purse and grab my backpack filled with my work clothes and wander the halls of Harry's house I'm search of a bathroom.
I eventually find one and step inside and strip from all my clothes. I avoid my reflection in the mirror not wanting to see the pain written all over my face. After brushing my teeth, washing my face and putting all my clothes on, I emerge from the bathroom and go back into the kitchen to see Harry no longer on the couch.
I have to be at work by nine and it is eight fifteen, the kids are still sleep and are going to be late for daycare. I rush up the stairs and into the each of the kids to find they're not in their beds but they're both dressed and brushing their teeth. I kiss each of them on the head and stand in the doorway.
"What did you want for breakfast?" They spit into the sink and turn to face me. "Daddy said he was going to do." Okay..
"Why are you here mommy? Do we all live together now?" The smiles on there face a so bright and precious I hate to disappoint them and kill their joy.
