Jayde
Cyrus drives us to the airport in silence, the only noise coming from the humming of the engine and the rumble of tires on the concrete. A few times throughout the forty-five minute drive, Gemma grabs my phone and squeezes my hand as sobs fall past my lips. My life was perfectly fine just seventy-two hours ago. Yes there were some kinks that needed to be worked out here and there but I wasn't mad at it, but now, im pregnant and separated from my children and the man I want to be with. My life went from almost perfect to a complete disaster right before my eyes and I don't know how to process such a sudden change. Who really has the mental capacity to process this but let alone set all this up over jealousy?
I do admit I was completely in the wrong by trying to force my way into an already formed relationship, no matter the status we once held in the past. But to kill an innocent man, drain bank accounts and commit arson; these are actions only a true psychopath can go through with. It's crazy just how quick your life can possibly change, and there's absolutely no way for you to even stop it. I don't know the first step to trying to gain normalcy or getting Jenna and whoever else she's working with to stop; I don't agree with Harry on sending me back with our family and leaving him to fight for all of us alone.
If it hadn't been for me none of us would even be in this predicament. If it hadn't been for my poor work history I would've never had to work at Harry's let alone see him again and our lives couldve been normal. The kids would have grown up without Harry, I would've hopefully met another nice and responsible man who would've stepped up to the plate and been there for all of us. We could've lived a fairytale life.
But this is what my life has become.
I've fallen heavily for the man who didn't give a shit about me only six years ago. I'm pregnant with his child and my biggest dream is to be a whole family with him.
As I stare onto the moving traffic, bright lights in the distance come into view letting me know the airport is just a few miles ahead. "Please put these on and the glasses as well. Mr Styles has asked of us to keep a low profile as there will be people searching for us the moment we enter. We'll be met by a few other men, per Mr Styles' request just for extra security but most will be protecting from afar. We won't be going through normal security or check in lines so when we enter the building, stay together and as close as possible. Understood?" Gemma and I both agree to Cyrus and place the large sun glasses over our eyes and the cardigans over our bodies.
We pull up to the curb and our doors are instantly opened. "Good evening Ms Kavanaugh my name is Kane, I work with Mr Styles' security personnel. He helps me out the car and guides me by the door as we wait for Gemma and Cyrus with our luggage. "Keep this on you at all times but don't take it out unless you are in an emergency or you're alone. Okay?" I nod and accept the phone, placing it into the pocket of my leggings. "We'll take the luggage from here, get them there safely Cyrus." He nods two two gentlemen off and we part ways.
"Keep your eyes lowered, don't make eye contact and move quick. We won't be stopping until we make it and it's a bit of a lengthy walk."
Gemma and I grab ahold of one another's hands as we race through the airport. Going down flights of stairs up and down elevators and escalators and further away from civilization. As I lift my eyes from the ground we're in a completely secluded area, with walls on either side of us just mere feet away. "We're almost there but keep your heads down." I drop my eyes to the floor and keep my eyes glued to Cyrus' fast moving feet.
After turn left at the end of the hall and entering into a room with a view of the tarmac. But what causes me to stop in fright is the amount of people crowded in such a small room, each with their eyes on Gemma and I. "These gentleman work for Mr Styles as well."
