I started running without thinking.Katsuki was the only thing that mattered to me at the moment.
So help me if that sludge guy hurts him...
I stopped about ten feet in front of the villain. "Katsuki!" I yelled. I could see him forcefully struggling against the sludge. Small explosions could be seen erupting around him, but they didn't seem to be doing any damage.
Katsuki looked over to me. "Angel?! What are you doing here?! Go, NOW!" He yelled with, did I hear him right? Worry?
"And leave you? No way!" I stuck out my right arm, gripping my wrist with my left hand. 'Okay, just...need a...clear...SHOT AW COME ON!!' I yelled in my head. Every time I thought I had a clear shot the sludge man would move so Katsuki was in the way. Just then I saw a flash of green in my peripheral vision.
"Izuku!"
"Deku?!"
"What are you doing?" I yelled looking over to him with urgency in my voice.
"I don't know! My legs just started moving!" He yelled back, clawing at the sludge monster, doing no damage what so ever. 'Well, I guess this is the best thing I can do for now.' I put my hands together and made an air bubble around Katsuki. It wasn't much but at least he could breathe without a struggle now.
"Eh, not this again." The sludge villain said, obviously referring to my bubble, just like the one I made earlier. "I'm sick of playing around with you two." A large sludge hand came down, ready to hit Izuku who was still clawing at him. I rushed over to Izuku, grabbing him trying to shield him from the blow.
But the blow never came.
"I really am pathetic." I looked up, Izuku still in my arms, to see my dad.
"All Might?" Izuku said, looking up for the first time.
"I told you the traits to make a great champion but-" His arms were wrapped in sludge "I see I wasn't living up to my own ideal!" All Might easily broke free from the arms of the villain. I let go of Izuku, both of us looking up as All Might prepared for his attack.
"DETROIT SMASH!!!" He yelled, blowing the villain away and releasing Katsuki. Like before, I was able to stand my ground but Katsuki and Izuku were both in the hand of my father to make sure they didn't blow away. The wind blew like crazy. That's when I felt the sprinkle of water on my face.
I looked up and sure enough, it had begun to rain. 'Wow dad, you really are something else.' Everyone started braking out into cheers. I was stopped by a few heroes, both for my acts of bravery and quick thinking, but also for rushing into a battle.
I rushed over to Katsuki once I broke free from the crowd. Though he seemed to have one himself. There were dozens of heroes and civilians congratulating him and telling him how great he was. I decided to wait until they faded out before I went to him.
"KitKat!" I called when mostly everyone had dispersed. "Are you okay? You're not hurt are you?"
Katsuki gave me that cocky smile that I know all too well. "Don't be stupid, I'm fine. Not a single scratch on me. That guy would have to do a whole lot more to take me down." He paused for a second, looking down and stuffing his hands in his pockets before continuing. "And, uh, thanks for the bubble." It was barely audible, but I heard it nonetheless. But he didn't know that.
"What was that?" I said sweetly, putting my hand up to my ear.
"I said, thanks for the bubble." He mumbled the slightest bit louder.
"You're gonna have to speak up KitKat."
"I SAID THANKS FOR THE FUCKING BUBBLE!! AND STOP CALLING ME THAT!" He yelled. I looked up at him laughing.
"I'm sorry but, that's not gonna happen," Katsuki mumbled something under his breath that this time I really couldn't hear. But, decided it'd be best not to pry into it. "I'm just glad you're alright." I told him before walking away to find Izuku, but he was nowhere to be seen. Now that I think about it, I couldn't find dad either.
I thought it'd be easier to travel above ground than on the streets so I jumped up to a nearby building and started looking for any signs of the two. After about five minutes I saw dad and Izuku talking on the side of a street. Dad was in his 'skeleton form'. I couldn't hear any of the conversation, but I had a slight idea to what this was about. I smiled to myself before jumping down with them.
When I jumped down, Izuku was on the ground crying. The average person would think this was a bad sign but I've known Izuku long enough to know that wasn't the case at all. "So, dad, you finally found someone worthy of One for All?" That got Izuku's attention.
"[F/N]? What? Dad? What's going on?" Izuku asked, frantically looking between me and my dad. He sighed before starting.
"Yes, Young Midoriya. [F/N] is my daughter." I smiled at Izuku.
"B-but, you two look nothing alike!" He called out.
"You see Izuku," I started walking over to him, "All Might is my adoptive father." He let out a small 'oh' before dad continued.
"And to answer your question [F/N], I have." He looked directly at Izuku "Young Midoriya, you will inherit my power, One for All. It will take lots of training and effort, but I know you will pull through. I chose you for a reason." Izuku started to get teary-eyed again.
"I promise I won't let you down. Either of you." He finished looking at me. Not gonna lie, did blush a bit.
"I know you won't Izuku. You're gonna become an amazing hero. And I'm gonna help you through all of it." I said pulling him into a side hug. "We'll both become amazing heroes. Just you wait!" I cheered, throwing my fist in the air. I could see my dad smile.
"Yeah! Let's do this!"
"Here we go!"
