⚠️Warning: Bakugo is very ooc and very soft⚠️

I left Mina's at about nine in the morning. The only one awake besides myself was Momo, so I asked her to let the other girls know that I had left. I didn't have a specific reason for leaving so early, I wasn't supposed to meet Katsuki till noon, but... I don't know. I suppose I just wanted to get a clear head before then.

Walking down the street with a cool breeze flowing your hair is one of the most relaxing feelings in the world. The quiet, peaceful feeling that lingers in the air as you move forward down the road is heavenly. Any other day, it'd wash any nerves of mine down the drain, but today, it just left my mind open for them to slowly trickle in.

Did I even want to go see Katsuki? Was it worth the trouble? What if he just started yelling at me again, the last thing I wanted to do was make a scene in a public place. More and more thoughts ran through my mind about what could happen this afternoon. The negative ideas must have really been clouding my mind, because I didn't even realize I was standing outside my front door.

I pulled my key from my pocket and unlocked the door. Since the door was locked up I knew dad wasn't home, probably at some sort of meeting or patrolling the area looking for any crime to stop. I slipped off my shoes and walked over to the kitchen. I didn't think to make myself anything before leaving Mina's so I was absolutely famished.

I quickly whipped myself up [whatever you eat for breakfast :p], scarfed it up, and headed upstairs. I went straight to my room, like I'd do any other day. But when I placed my hand on the doorknob, something, different, washed over me.

I shifted my head over to the room at the very end of the hall. It was a small room, bigger than an average closet but too small to be a considered a normal room. Letting my arm fall to my side, I turned my whole body to the room. I'd been in there exactly twice. Dad hasn't been in there at all. In the room...was the box.

I know its crazy to think about, but I still haven't opened that box yet. I've been putting it off since I got it, and its sat in that room, untouched, unmoved. Its been over ten years, and I've never felt any desire to open it. But now, its like its very presence was drawing me forward.

I don't remember going into the room, or crossing the hall to it for that matter, but there I was, standing in a completely empty room except for the box on its simple wooden table. I stared at it for a while, taking in its every feature. The way the small carved out details made in look sophisticated, yet simple. The four small, coned shaped legs on the bottom that lifted it no more then half an inch off the table's surface. It was beautiful.

I lifted the small box up into my palms and unhooked the small silver latch on the front. With a shaky hand, I lifted the lid up and looked inside the box's contents.

Inside were three items: A locket, a letter, and a photo. Actually, I take that back. It was many photos, folded over and behind each other to make a sort of booklet. I started with the locket.

It was unlike anything I'd ever seen. The color was hard to describe. It was almost like a pale blue, mixed with a silver and maybe even a hint of violet.

The shape was simple, just an ordinary circle. On the front were many tiny curves and loops. Looking closer, I noticed that at the end of each curve was a specific design. One for each one of my elements. Though some of the designs couldn't be tied to one of them. I gently traced my finger over each little design before opening the locket.

On the inside of the locket's lid was a beautiful watch. It's face was an elegant silver and each roman numeral was a vibrant white. None of the hands on the watch seemed to be moving, so I figured it was broken. I'd have to fix it up later.
