I smiled as I read the comforting messages from all of my classmates...except one. Katsuki. He's the only one who didn't send anything. I was expecting at least one text, maybe even a call. But not a single thing from him was sent. The thought to call him myself came to mind, but I was honestly too scared to go through with it. I can't just close him off forever. Whatever, I'll worry about this later.

I continued down the street until I arrived at my house. "Dad, I'm home!" I shouted as I opened up the door and slipped my shoes off.

"Hey kiddo. Where have you been?" Dad asked from the couch.

"The park." I answered simply, sitting down next to him. The two of us sat there for a few minutes in an awkward silence before dad cleared his throat and started speaking.

"So, about the finals." He said, glancing over to me. I tensed up and threw my head down in shame.

"I'm sorry! I-I overreacted. Its just...what Katsuki said...."

"Yes yes, I know. What young Bakugo said definitely aggravated me as well. But to have such a close friend say something like that to you, I can't even begin to imagine what that felt like." I gripped the hem of my skirt as I felt tears threatening to fall from my eyes. "We just gotta keep your emotions under control, okay? It could be dangerous to others, and yourself, if you don't." His tone was serious, yet comforting.

I quickly wiped away the tears in my eyes before they could fall down my face. "Yeah, I'll do better. I swear." I exclaimed, putting on a bright smile.

"That's my girl." Dad laughed as he ruffled my hair. "Alright, I'm done with the serious talk. Go be a kid." I gave my dad a quick hug before dashing up the stairs and to my room. I was still wearing my school uniform so upon entering, I changed into a simple [F/C] t-shirt and some black shorts.
