It was the start of a new day. By the time I woke up dad was already gone so I figured he had some hero stuff to do. Thankfully I didn't run into any silly reporters on my way to school. Looks like they learned their lesson. Now I was in hero basic training, ready for what Aizawa had planned for us.
"Alright," Aizawa started. "Today's training is gonna be a little different. You'll have three instructors, me, All Might, and another faculty member, will be keeping tabs on you." Murmurs filled the room. 'Why so many heroes? Oh, probably because of the break in yesterday.'
"Sir!" Sero shouted out. "What kind of training is this?"
"Rescue. You'll be dealing with natural disasters, shipwrecks, stuff like that." Aizawa answered. Excitement filled the room. So far we've only been battling. Time for some real hero stuff! "Guys I'm not finished yet." We all hushed up ad turned back to Aizawa-san. "What you wear in this exercise is up to you. I know you're excited about costumes." He clicked a button on a control and the boxes came out of the wall. "But keep in mind that you haven't gotten used to them yet. So they might limit your abilities."
I wasn't really worried about that. My costume is designed to be able to handle things like water, fire, the cold, all that. I'll be just fine. Aizawa continued. "This training is at an off campus facility so we will be taking a bus to get there. That's all, start getting ready." We all headed off to the changing rooms to prepare.
"[F/N], your costume looks so good on you!" Hagakure squealed as the other girls and I left the changing rooms.
"Yeah, it really fits your style!" Uraraka joined in. The other girl nodded in agreement as I smiled and blushed.
"Thanks girls!" We joined the guys outside the school, ready to head out, when we heard a loud whistle.
"Gather round class 1-A!" Iida called out. "Using your student numbers form two neat lines so we can load the bus efficiently!"
"Well, at least he's fulfilling the role of class rep." News flash, no one listened. I was one of the last people to board the bus so it took some time to find an open seat. Finally, I found one next to Tokoyami. "Hey Tokoyami!" I greeted plopping down next to him.
"Greetings [F/N]." He greeted back.
"Hey! Don't forget me!" A shadow figure in the shape of a bird came out from behind Tokoyami.
"O-oh! I'm sorry! Hello!" I waved to the unknown creature.
Tokoyami let out an embarrassed sigh, looking down to the ground. "I'm sorry [F/N]. This is Dark Shadow." I smiled at the shadow creature. He smiled back.
"You're very pretty." He said. I blushed at the sudden compliment. Tokoyami blushing a well.
"Aw, thank you Dark Shadow. You're so sweet."
"D-dark Shadow," Tokoyami stuttered. "You can't just go around saying things like that. I'm so sorry [F/N]."
"It's alright Tokoyami, he didn't mean any harm."
"Well if any of our classmates have pro quirks its Todoroki, Bakugo, and [F/N]." The sound of my name being said pulled my attention away from the two. I looked over to see Kiri giving me a bright smile.
"Sure but Bakugo's always angry so he'll never be that popular." Tsu mentioned. I couldn't help but laugh as Bakugo started yelling at her.
