"You 'flipped the switch' I've been told." Klaus man remarked, sitting next to his daughter on the bench.

"Is that why you came all this way from New Orleans, Klaus?" Poppy asked in reply, smirking.

Damon looked at Klaus, who didn't seem very happy. "No one has been able to get their hands on her. She doesn't even sleep."

Klaus rubbed his eyes. "Well please do share your plan." He lowered his hand. "You have a plan, right?"

Stefan shrugged. "We've tried everything we've come up with. Can't even get within reaching distance. It's not much of a plan, but we do have a 'weapon'."

"Me." Silas said.

"We think he's the key to getting her humanity back on."

"You can't fool me, Silas. You are not the key to getting me to flip the switch." Poppy said, pushing him off of her and taking a few steps to leave the alley.

"We trick her into believing we won't attempt to bring her back." Elijah leaned back on the couch. "And then Silas puts us in a Chambre de Chasse. In there we'll play on her biggest fears." He then leaned forward. "Niklaus there is a saying that's popular amongst the younger generation...drastic times call for drastic measures."

The Salvatore Boarding Home

The sun shined through the windows of the boarding home, bringing light to the darkness. It was quiet, and quite early in the morning. Birds sang outside, flying amongst the orange and pink clouds.

Poppy walked to the front door, twirling a set of keys on her finger.

"Where are you going?" A voice asked from behind her, using his father tone. "You haven't even had breakfast."

The tribrid turned around. "To Whitmore, Klaus. I heard Professor Dawson is going to give a killer lecture at noon on the all powerful witch Silas and his ex-fiancée Qetsiyah who lived two thousand years ago. Thanks to Atticus Shane, he's a part of the curriculum."

Klaus sped to stand in front of his daughter when she turned around to leave. "You're not going against the agreement are you?" He asked. "And what happened to you calling me Dad?"

"You mean the agreement that you forced upon me? The 'don't kill people and we'll leave you be' agreement? Pfft. How about you leave me be and you don't get hurt." Poppy walked around him and opened the door. Before she left completely, she looked at him. "And unless I feel the faintest bit of emotional attachment...you're just Klaus."

A Clothing Shop

The clothing shop buzzed with chatter of employees and a few students, who milled around in search of outfits. The radio played "Pumped Up Kids" by Foster the People, which seemed pretty popular despite the darkness of the lyrics.

Poppy stood in front of a mirror near the changing rooms, wearing boyfriend jeans, which began at her waist and ended just above her ankles. She also wore flats and a skin tight long sleeved shirt.
