Mystic Falls, Virginia

The Salvatore Boarding Home

Soft music played in the bedroom, soft morning light pouring in from behind the curtains, shining light onto the soft skin that belonged to Poppy Salvatore-Mikaelson, who was getting better because of the medicine that was building up, allowing her to do her normal things easier for the time being. She sat on her chair at her makeup table, leaned against the back, her hair brushed to one side and her eyes closed. Against her neck were her husband's lips, gently kissing. The corner of her lip curled up in joy, in pleasure. She felt his hand in her hair, and the other on her arm. He dragged his lips up her neck to kiss behind her ear. With a blink of an eye, they were laying in bed, looking into each other's eyes.

Poppy smiled, turning to straddle his waist. She bit her lip, placing her hands on his chest. With her vampire speed, she took off her shirt, and then his. He placed his hands on her hips, and she bent over, her lips hovering over his. She smiled more when a knocking came from the front door downstairs. She pecked his lips.

"Bonnie's back," she whispered. Silas smiled, kissing her lips gently, and then she pulled away, getting off of him. She quickly put her shirt on and tossed his at him. "Come on, let's go!" She exclaimed.

Silas rolled his eyes playfully and sat up, putting on his shirt. "Okay, okay." He got up and stretched.

Poppy smiled more and grabbed his hand, basically dragging him out of the room and to the foyer, where the one and only Bonnie Bennett stood with Caroline, holding a box out to her.

"Thank you." Caroline smiled, and the pair turned to look at the married couple.

Poppy let go of Silas's hand and ran to the witch, hugging her tightly. "How was Paris?!" She smiled, pulling away from the hug. "Did you eat all of the cheese?"

Bonnie smiled, letting out a laugh. "Caroline asked that same question. The answer is yes." She looked behind the tribrid to see Silas, and they smiled at each other.

"That necklace is so beautiful.." Poppy remarked, looking at the silver large necklace that Bonnie wore. In the center was a tiny vial of a red liquid. Blood? Whose blood was it?

Caroline walked to stand beside Poppy and looked, her eyes widening. "Wow, Bonnie."

Bonnie smiled. "Thank you. Enzo gave it to me on our last night in Paris." She paused for a moment. "Yeah. It's filled with blood." The witch told them, as if reading their thoughts. Poppy and Caroline looked at her in confusion. "Enzo's."

"That's..."

"Morbid.." Poppy finished for Caroline. "But oddly charming." She walked to stand with her husband.

The witch rolled her eyes, turning to watch her. "A mere symbol of an eternity with you, love." She mocked her boyfriend, telling them what it meant to him, using an accent as she walked around Caroline to put her bags down.

Caroline furrowed her eyebrows, almost cringing. "That seems like one very specific symbol. Are you sure that's what it is? I mean, you don't want you to..."

Bonnie looked at her. "Don't worry," she laughed. "I'm not turning into a vampire any time soon." The idea seemed so foreign to her. She never wanted to be a vampire, she wanted to stay a witch, and stay mortal, which Poppy didn't blame her for feeling that way. Bonnie had watched all of her friends struggle with being a vampire. Besides, she wouldn't know what would happen with Elena if she turned.

"Yeah, or ever, right?" The blonde inquired, causing the Bennett to furrow her eyebrows slightly. "I mean, according to the Bonnie Bennett that I've always known."
