A/N: *if you haven't seen the premier to Legacies season 2 you can skip this bolder part*

Okay so like the scene where Hope made the butterfly appear for Clarke to comfort him actually stunned me because a few chapters back I had Hope make butterflies for Poppy to make her happy and to comfort her. Like WHOA that's PERFECT for upcoming chapters.

Also I really want Caroline, Bonnie, and Kai to come back cuz I think they're really important to the story. Like for Kai to come back they need Bennett blood and Caroline is the twin's mom so like uhhhhh..

Freya is coming for an episode so that's freakin amazing! I wonder if she'll be pregnant or Keelin will, or if the kid will already be born. I think the episode she'll be in is called "That's nothing I had to remember" so hmmmm I gotta think about that one

Mystic Falls, Virginia

The Salvatore Boarding Home

Face a demon today, face the devil tomorrow was something Poppy's Aunt Rebekah used to say, and it fit her situation perfectly. Her previous foes (Dahlia, Lucien, the New Orleans witches, the many battles her family fought, physical and emotional) were mere demons in the face of Arcadius, the literal devil. In the midst of each battle, the Mikaelsons knew that they would always have a larger threat. Could Arcadius be the largest to come? Or will the next opponent be much worse?

This is what Poppy currently thought about.

It was early in the morning, around 2AM. The home was quiet, everyone was supposed to be sleeping, but almost nobody was. In front of Poppy was a warm fire in the fire place, making her skin appear orange in the light. She sat on the rug in front of it, hugging her knees close to her chest, her fingertips playing with the fabric of her cotton pajama pants as she stared at the crackling flames. Her hair was damp from her shower, and her nails had been bitten down so there was no white part showing. It had been another long day of torturing and listening to screams and crying. The worst part of it was that she was beginning to get used to it.

But she was getting tired of just sitting around and soaking in the guilt and voices, so she stood up. She had the day off, and she was going to make the most out of it. Maybe she could start by actually talking to her husband...

She turned and walked into the hallway, and then walked up the staircase. Since the sun hadn't risen over the horizon, the hallways were dark, only lit by the candles that lined the walls at every doorway, and the moonlight that shone onto the floors.

Her bare feet padded as she walked, quiet, but audible. It was odd when another pair of footsteps could be hear on the rugs. Poppy furrowed her eyebrows, not feeling any presences with her magic, meaning no one was there. But she definitely heard someone.

"Poppy.." A voice whispered in her ear, and she spun around, a scream immediately leaving her throat. She stumbled back a bit. Before her stood a woman, who wore only her undergarments. The woman used to be pretty, she had long blonde hair and brilliant hazel eyes. Not anymore. Her eye had been cut out, leaving only a deep red hole with blood surrounding it. Her body had been sliced up, carved into. Her hair was wet and clung to her body. It was one of her victims, Rose Wallace.

"I'm sorry-" Poppy spoke quietly, but she was cut off by the woman.

"You did this to me!!" The woman screamed, beginning to run at the tribrid, who backed up then turned around, running down the hall. "I'm going to kill you for what you did to me!"
