I laid in Tré bed smoking.

"She called me basically blaming me for us breaking up. I don't care anymore because I don't want her no more." I said.

He looked at me then handed me the blunt.

"Word? Who you want?" He asked me.

"Nobody. I'm chilling. I like being single. I can get groovy with it." I said shrugging pulling from the jay.

"I like that answer." He said nodding.

"So wassup with bm? I can call her that?" I asked laughing.

I pulled from the blunt again then passed it.

He laughed and shook his head.

"She crazy. I fuck with her though. She just too childish." He said pulling from the blunt.

"She is a feisty one." I said thinking about earlier.

"I'm the first grown nigga she ever fucked with. Put some grown man dick in her and now look at her." He said laughing and pulling from the blunt again.

I laughed. He passed the blunt.

"Boy bye. She just young and dumb. I was her too." I said taking the blunt from him.

I pulled from the blunt and felt my phone ring.

I saw Britt name pop up and looked up at Tré.

"Listen to this shit." I said answering and pulling from the blunt.

"Hello?" I answered.

"What you doing bitch?" She asked.

"Chilling at the shop." I answered.

"You lying. Somebody went by the shop and you wasn't there. So what you doing?" She asked.

"Fuck you going by my shit for? Stalking me?" I asked her.

"Yeah ight." She said hanging up.

I shook my head and put my phone down.

"So you think you ready to be a father?" I asked him pulling from the blunt.

He looked at me.

"No. I ain't got a choice but to ready up cause this baby coming." He said.

"Glad you taking care of your responsibilities. She's young Tré. I'm sure after the baby comes she's gonna understand." I said passing the blunt.

He looked at me then pulled from the blunt.

"Think I'm gonna be a good pops?" He asked.

I nodded.

"Yeah. Most people think throwing money at a kid makes you a good parent but it doesn't. Actually being present in a child's life makes you a good parent. You could be broke as hell but your kid wouldn't know because that's not what they look for." I said.
