Lauren POV

After unlocking the door I walked in Trigga's house.

I locked the door behind me.

I heard talking in the living room. I knew his mom was here.

I put my bag down and walked to the living room.

He saw me and smiled.

I looked over at his mom and she was smiling at me.

"Hi I'm-" I started but she cut me off.

"Lauren. I've heard a lot about you." She said getting up to hug me.

I hugged her back and looked at Trigga.

He shrugged.

"I'm sorry about the other day. My son is just so unpredictable. I didn't know he was introducing me to his wife and daughter in the same day." She said sitting down.

I sat next to Trig.

"I can tell my son has a type. From Hailey to you." She said.

I saw it in Trig's face he didn't want her to bring up whoever the Hailey girl is.

"I didn't even like him. I wanted his head at the end of my gun." I said looking at him.

"Now I can't leave him alone." I said still looking at him.

He looked at me and nodded.

"Well Lauren I wish you would've came back a little bit earlier our talk could've been longer but I have to go do my motherly duties." She said standing up.

"Grammy baby come give me a hug." She said.

Kenzie got up and ran to her grandma to hug her.

"Aww I love you." She said kissing her head.

Kenzie went back to watching tv.

Trig got up and walked his mother out.

I looked at my phone and saw Cedes text message.

"You've been served."

It was a picture of a subpoena.

I stood up.

I felt myself shaking. I went to the kitchen to get some water.

Trigga walked past the kitchen then came in the kitchen.

"You okay?" He asked.

I drunk the water I got out the fridge.

"I got a subpoena." I said showing him the message Cedes sent to me.

He looked at me.

"Okay so we need to go talk to Jason. This is what all this marriage shit is for. They can't make you testify against me." He said grabbing my hand.
