Lauren POV

I woke up in Trig bed.

He was on the phone.

"Why was they over there?"

"They looking for Lauren?"

I sat up.

He looked at me.

"Ight. She right here."

"Ight."

He hung up the phone.

"That was Cedes. Police came to your house this morning looking for you." He said.

"The police?" I asked making sure I heard him right.

"Yeah. I need you to go to the station and see what's up with that." He said.

"I was gonna go anyway but why would the police want to talk to me." I said getting out the bed.

Trig looked like he was in deep thought.

"You okay?" I asked putting my shirt on.

He nodded.

"Yeah. I'm just tryna figure how I'm going to tell my momma about her granddaughter." He said standing up.

"I need a car. Mine is still at the shop." I said going to the bathroom.

I brushed my teeth and then put my hair in a ponytail.

He came to the door hand handed me keys.

"What you got planned for today?" He asked me.

"I have to go get my car and then nothing." I said.

"You want to come by my mom house? Meet her and Kenzie?" He asked.

"You want me to meet your daughter?" I asked.

He nodded.

"My mom too." He said.

I smiled and nodded.

"Just send me the address and I'll be there." I said grabbing my phone and shades.

He walked me downstairs and opened the door.

"Ight. I'll see you later." He said pulling me closer to him.

I nodded.

He kissed me and then smacked my butt.

I hit the alarm and seen it was the Benz Truck.

I looked back at him.

He laughed.

I smiled and got right in it.

I started it up and pulled off.
