I gave a squeak as my bum hit the hard ground, and then a shout when I started to move. I was rolling like a log one moment, then spinning in a circle the next, my face and legs getting some nice new scrapes on them. It was a sudden drop with a sudden stop. I landed under some Dwarves on my stomach, losing all of my air for a split second, before I heard inhumane shrieking. There were multiple protests from the company as the ones sitting on me where harshly yanked onto their feet.

I was shoved forwards by someone, and then I tripped over my own foot, landing harshly on my hands and knees. I knew they were bleeding, and not just from the stinging pain emanating from those spots. I stayed down, my head bent, and then suddenly, it was strangely quiet. I looked up and around, and saw that the Goblins, and my Dwarves, had disappeared. I quickly scuttered to the side, hiding behind, I don't actually know what, and watched the last of the Goblins disappear around a bend.

I stood, glancing around, and then pulled my sword out. It's glowing blue hue made a slight torch, and I followed after where I had seen the company go. I glanced around, before gasping as a goblin suddenly appeared in front of me, letting out a growl. My hands tightened on my sword and it charged at me. I parried it's strikes as it slashed at me wildly, before it got the upper hand and decided it wanted a piggy back ride.

I clawed at it's arm with my free hand and shook, hoping to dislodge him from my back. It worked...but at a price. When it tumbled over the edge of the cliff, so did I. I let out a grunt as my back hit rock, then nothing for a moment, the wood. I dropped my sword, and for a second my hand grabbed onto rope before slipping.

"Fuck!" My shout echoed as I feel into a crevice in the rock wall. And then, black.

~Mini Time Skip Brought To You By A Really Fat Goblin~

My eyes opened slowly, thoughts foggy. 'What the friggy fuck happened?' My thoughts were pushed aside by heavy breathing, and my eyes opened the rest of the way. My wits came rushing back, and I remembered the goblin that took me for a tumble off a cliff. I shifted a little, but then stopped, when I saw a pair of eyes emerging from the darkness.

A skinny, pale looking...something or other, came out of the shadows, his face morphing into a smile when his eyes landed on the felled goblin.

"Yes!" he hissed, "Yes. Yes. Yes!" I held my breath, not daring to breath for fear of him hearing me. It was then I realised how close he was to me. There was only a wall of fungus to hide me, and I thanked Manwe it softened my fall.

The creature coughed out what sounded like words, saying, "Gollum, gollum." and my eyes widened as I watched him pick up the Goblin's legs and start to drag it away. Apparently, the goblin didn't like that, because it batted it's arms at the creature dragging it. I watched as the creature picked up a rock, and started beating the goblin's head in with it, making sure it was good and dead.

"Nasty Goblinses!" the creature hissed, and continued to drag the goblin's corpse along behind him, "Better than old bones, precious. Better than nothing." My eyes were wide by the time the two disappeared around a bend, and I quickly got to my feet, and picked up my still glowing sword.  I used it as a torch as I glanced around at where I had fell, and up, looking for a way to get out of wherever I was. I had glanced back down at the ground, when something caught my eye. A small glint of gold. I bent down, and picked up a small, golden ring. I quickly shoved the band of metal into my pocket when the sound of whimpering reached my ears.

"Too many boneses, precious. Not enough flesh! Shut up! Cut it's skin off. Start with its head." I followed the, I guess, conversation, up to what looked to be an underground lake. I saw the creature from before, sitting on a rock that jutted up into the air, and cringed as it started signing.
