We both sit there in silence, staring at each other.

Sam looks at me, than at Cas, looking slightly confused.

I laugh nervously, pushing my chair out from the table in the process.

The empty pie tin lays abandoned, some filling still stuck to the inside of it.

I lick my lips and stare directly at the tin, not daring to look up at him.

Well, Cas, that is...

He's still staring off at me, blankly.

His eyes don't even blink.

They like the rest of him, just stay completely still and stare straight ahead.

I cough nervously, startling him out of his staring.

"Um look, it's been real swell having you over and all, but I gotta get ready for my date now."

He looks at me, questioningly.

"Date?"

I nod, finally getting up, pie tin in hand.

"Yes, date. Soon, in fact."

Cas nods, staring at me again.

Sam chuckles from where he is now sitting on the couch, laptop open.

"Maybe, you should tell him who the lucky girl is, Dean."

I shrug and nod, reluctantly.

Sighing, I tell him.

"Lisa? You mean Lisa Braeden? Our-I mean- your chemistry teacher? THAT LISA BRAEDEN?!", he says, voice rising.

I roll my eyes and nod.

"Yes. THAT Lisa Braeden."

Cas shakes his head and gives me a worried look.

"You cannot. She's our-pardon me- your TEACHER!"

I laugh, shaking my head, also.

"Don't be stupid, Cas. I can date whoever the f**k want. Besides, she really likes me."

I watch his face for some sort of agreement, but all he does is sigh, loudly.

"Okay, very well. I suppose I cannot make your decisions for you. Have a good time.", he says, getting up from his chair, quickly.

For some reason, when he does this, I can't help but stare at him.

It has NOTHING whatsoever to do with how he looks, I'm straight after all. No, it must be because of his odd clothing attire.

I mean really, the dude is wearing a f**king trench coat.

It's a little dirty in some parts, but otherwise the rest if it is a tan colour.

I clear my throat awkwardly and begin to head to my room, thinking about my date soon with Lisa.

He looks back at me one last time, as Sam (who is now up off the couch) goes over and shuts the door behind him.

My brother than goes back to the couch, opening his laptop back up.

His brown hair is messy from sleep and he's intently looking at the lsptop's screen.

I don't question his behaviour, instead I go to my room to get ready for my date.

As I'm getting dressed, I can't help but picture that guy again.

Castiel, the one I met in the school office.

I can see him, dressed in his ridiculous coat and his blue tie in backwards. I see myself take hold of his tie and begin to re-tie it properly. I can feel Cas smiling up at me. I see this all in my mirror, taunting me.

It's strange, though.

My reflection laughs and holds him against me, pushing my hands under his trench coat.

His reflection giggles like well a young school girl, and leans his forehead against mine, breathing rapidly.

Even though, I know it's not at all real, my face begins to burn and I feel myself breaking out into a cold sweat.

I shake the image out of my head, feeling very ashamed of myself, and continue getting dressed.

When, I glance back at my mirror, I hear the doorbell ring.

Hear, Sam's heavy feet pound on the hardwood floor as he goes to answer it.

I pull my tie tight and fix my dad's leather jacket, trying to calm down.

Finally, I head downstairs, my pace quick and silent.

Sam smiles at me and waves as I grab ahold of Lisa's hand and escort her to my car.

My baby.

A 1967 Chevy Impala.

My dad's car, well was anyway.

We pull out of the driveway, Sam no longer waving, and head to the restaurant.

Even as I'm driving though and talking to Lisa, about current events and her son Ben, I can't help but think of Cas.

The guy that I met today.

Lisa looks worriedly at me, kinda like Cas did.

No Dean, stop thinking about Cas!

I tell myself.

"Dean honey, are you okay?", she asks, grabbing my hand that's still on the steering wheel.

I nod.

"Yeah, just fine, Lise."

She smiles and nods.

"Okay, let's go."

And, before I know it she kisses me and than pulls me out of the car towards the doors of the restaurant.

"So, how was school?"

I sigh, thinking about how weird and different it was today.

"You know, the usual. Same old, same old.", I tell her, lying through my teeth.
