"Dean, we need to talk.", I say, staring sternly at my friend.

He gives me a confused look.

"About WHAT, Cas? I was kinda on my way to Lisa's..."

I flash him an unintentional glare.

Stepping forward, I place a hand on his shoulder.

"You cannot. Not now, anyway. We must talk first."

With that, I grab him and we disappear instantly together in a rush of wings and more bright light.

My heart pounds loudly, it is strange, though.

I am not supposed to feel emotions.

I am a angel.

We do not feel what humans do.

"What the hell, Cas?!", he manages to get out, looking fiercely at me.

I try to hide my disappointed face, as he backs quickly away from me.

"What the hell ARE you?!", he says, this time pointing at me, accusingly.

I sigh.

What am I supposed to tell him?

Oh by the way Dean, I am actually a angel of The Lord?

No, he would think I was on drugs or something.

Okay, than what?

"Cas? Cas? CAS! WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON???!!!"

This knocks me out of my stupor.

"Dean, I need to tell you something, well rather, things that are very important. Okay? That is all."

He nods reluctantly, no doubt annoyed with me.

I take a deep breath and say it.

"You're a WHAT?!", Dean shrieks, looking at me with wide eyes.

I sigh, slightly exasperated.

"I am a angel of The Lord. My full name is Castiel. But most like you, call me Cas. A few weeks ago, I decided to take a leave of absence from Heaven and my duties and come to earth in order to attend the thing you humans call well, 'high school'..."

Dean just keeps staring at me, so I go on.

"But, today I received word that, you were planning to marry the human known as Lisa Braeden, our chemistry teacher and had to quickly intervene-"

He looks directly at me, at that.

"What do you MEAN intervene? I was just visiting her."

I shake my head.

"No, you were not. You were planning to marry her soon. I heard your thoughts, Dean. You are planning to propose to Lisa."

He nods, laughing.

"Yeah so, what's it to you?"

It is not cold but likewise, I pull my coat tighter against my body.

Trying to keep my so called 'emotions' together.

He must not know the REAL reason as to why I am against it.

Never, shall he know...

"Cas? Seriously dude, what's wrong with that?"

I sigh.

Preparing for the worst.

"You must not marry her, Dean. She is not really your girlfriend. She has been possessed by a demon. A very old and very powerful one, at that. You are in grave danger if you do not listen and decide to stay with her. She will die, Dean. The demon will take over her until, there is nothing left. Please, do as I tell you and leave her now while you still can."

Okay, probably not my best lie, but still VERY convincing.

He looks at me shocked for a few moments than, nods, sadly.

"Okay Cas, I guess, I have no other choice. Thanks for the warning. When must I leave her? Like, two weeks from now?"

I shake my head.

"No Dean, you must leave her, immediately. You staying with her, will put you also at a greater risk to be poisoned by the demon's mind. Get out now, before it is too late."

I stop than, staring at his face.

It is stained with tears that are quickly falling out of his eyes.

The sight makes me feel like a knife is stabbing me -no scratch that- like a angel blade is stabbing me right through the chest.

But, what can I do?

The damage is done.

"Way to go, Castiel.", I tell myself, quietly.

"You have broken his heart. What a stupid, selfish angel you are!"

I do not notice that Dean has left.

Did not even here him walk away.

I collapse to the cold hard ground, sobbing into the sleeve of my tan coloured trench coat.

What is done, is done.

There is no turning back now.
