"Dean, is something wrong?", Lisa asks me, as I stare down at my feet.

We're walking back to my car, having just had dinner together.

It was her night to pick the place, so we ate at a restaurant rather than a diner.

She had a salad, garden I believe, and I had a steak that was semi-edible.

We sat in silence, eating our food.

Several times during the meal, she'd look up at me and ask me if I was okay.

I'd tell her that everything was fine.

But, it wasn't.

Truth is, since earlier this afternoon, everything's been really messed up.

It all started back at school, when I met Castiel Novak the 'new kid'.

We had gone back to my house after school, so that he could meet Sammy.

I figured if I got him there, maybe he'd take more interest in my brother than me and I'd be 'off the hook' so to speak.

But he didn't, instead he watched me eat a whole cherry pie and when I asked if he'd ever had pie, he basically said no.

That I thought, was weird.

Honestly, I have no clue WHY I'm still thinking about him, it's not like I care.

He's just a stupid new kid who just happens to wear a trench coat, his tie on backwards, and talk really well, strange.

I mean, the guy doesn't even use abbreviations.

What the hell?!

I sigh, as I open up the car door and escort Lisa inside.

She smiles at me and I quickly get into the driver's seat.

We don't talk at all, not till we get back to her house.

"I had a good time with you tonight, Dean.", she says, stepping out of the car.

She's dressed in a tight-fitting black dress, with matching pumps, and a small purse.

"Me too, Lisa.", I say, flashing her a cheesy smile.

She nods.

"Well, I'd better get going. Ben's probably climbing the walls by now. See you tomorrow, I guess?"

I nod, keeping both hands on the steering wheel.

"Yeah, sure Lise."

She than waves and walks over to her door.

The minute she opens it, a dark-haired boy in a t-shirt jumps into her arms.

I smile, looking at them.

Not only is Lisa Braeden a great chemistry teacher, she's also a great mom by the looks of things.

I pull out of her driveway, waving one last time at the now closed door.

Smiling to myself, I head to the nearest diner for some actual food.

That restaurant was the sh*t.

Literally.

When I open the double doors and walk in, a short blonde waitress smiles at me.

"Winchester, you're back. What'll it be?"

I laugh.

"The usual, please. Burger and fries."

She nods and hurries off to go get my food.
