Baby, I'm dancing in the dark with you between my arms. Barefoot on the grass, listening to our favorite song. I have faith in what I see: now I know I have met an angel in person and she looks perfect. I don't deserve this — she looks perfect tonight.

Her breath caught in her throat when she saw her bride walking down the aisle, looking more beautiful than ever. Rose loved looking at Luisa, her face was ageless, neither old nor young, though in it was illustrated the memories of many things both wonderful and sad. Her hair was a milky dark brown, like that of smooth chocolate, falling around her shoulders in bold curls, and upon it was set a silver woven headband, decorated with small red roses; her deep brown eyes had a honey glow, and in them was a light like that of a thousand stars.

Between her love's gorgeous face and the way her wedding gown hugged her in all the right places, Rose didn't know where to look. But it didn't matter, because she was so effortlessly happy right now. She was marrying the love of her life.

When Emilio Solano gave away his daughter and sat down, Rose finally breathed. Luisa gave Rose a big, breathtakingly beautiful smile that made her feel weak. She wanted this wedding to be over now, so she her bride-to-be could have a little celebration of their own.

"You look perfect, Lu." Rose whispered.

"Not nearly when compared to you, Ro." Luisa smirked.

The officiant began speaking and the whole time Rose found herself lost in Luisa's eyes, absolutely mesmerized by all the emotions and memories they held.

"Rose?" Luisa asked, squeezing Rose's hand.

"Huh?" She replied, snapping her out of her reverie.

"Your vows?"

"Oh, right!" Rose blushed, embarrassed. She cleared her throat and smiled. "I strongly believe — no, I know — that our's is the greatest love story ever told. Over the past five years, you've been the only thing in my life that seemed real. It was a bit of a struggle, but throughout it all, you have been my best friend, mentor, playmate, confidant, and my greatest challenge. Most importantly, you are the love of my life and you make me happier than I could ever imagine and more loved than I ever thought possible. Whenever I am with you, everything just feels right. You have made me a better person, as our love for one another is reflected in the way I live my life. So I am truly blessed to be a part of your life, which as of today becomes our life together. I believe in you, the person you will grow to be, and the couple we are, have been, and will be together. With my whole heart, I take you as my wife, acknowledging and accepting your faults and strengths, as you do mine. I promise to be faithful and supportive and to always make our family's love and happiness my priority. I will be yours in plenty and in want, in sickness and in health, in failure and in triumph. I will dream with you, celebrate with you, and walk beside you through whatever our lives may bring. You are my person — my love and my life, today and always." Rose slipped the gold band onto Luisa's finger and smiled. "Te amo mucho, Lu. You are mine forever."

"Te amo más, Ro." Luisa stated. "I love your sense of adventure and the way you always brighten my day. I vow to join with you in this journey as your wife with an open heart and to make even the smallest of our accomplishments — eating breakfast or changing a light bulb — into an exciting part of our lives together. I stand by you, a rock to lean on, a shoulder to cry on, a pillow to rest your head. I promise to be here to wipe away tears of sadness, to elicit tears of joy, and to cry out to everyone who will listen how much I love you. You are my light, my inspiration, and I am blessed to be able to call you my ever loving wife. The love I bear for you burns brightly — so bright and so hot that it creates its own star — a place in the firmament where our love warms us everyday. I vow to feed that warmth — to let it flow over us for all time and to never let our star stop lighting our path. After all," Luisa smirked, holding Rose's hand before her and slipping the ring on. "Our's is the greatest love story ever told."

"Rose Ruvelle and Luisa Alver, you have heard the words about love and marriage, have exchanged your vows and made your promises, and celebrated your union with the giving and receiving of rings. By the power invested in me, by the Universal Life Church, I now pronounce you wife and wife. You may now kiss your bride!" The officiant finished.

Rose let out a gasp as Luisa suddenly pulled her into a dip-kiss. It was passionate and fierce, yet sweet and gentle — just like her Lu. The kiss seemed to last forever — which Rose didn't mind one bit — but in reality, it only last a few seconds.

After the ceremony they headed to reception, where Luisa's brother, Rafael, gave the funniest best man speech. He talked about the day Luisa had told him about Rose, and how she was "the most gracious and breathtaking woman to walk the face of the earth" and how mesmerized she was. But little did Luisa know, Rose was even more taken than she was.

Rose caught Luisa staring at her with a dorky little smile on her face, effectively making Rose blush. She loved Luisa and all her dorky little quirks. They've been together for nearly five years, yet Rose still found herself blushing at Luisa's gaze every damn time.

The reception was outdoors, under the stars. Rose and Luisa had the first dance and they kicked off their heels, making their way to the "dance floor". They moved together like clockwork — one step after the other. They danced close, barefoot on the grass while Luisa's head rested on Rose's shoulder.

"You look perfect, Mrs. Ruvelle." Rose said, placing a kiss on the top of her wife's head.

"I look like a mess." Luisa said, pulling her head back and smiling dreamily at her wife.

"When I saw you up at the alter in this dress, I thought about how beautiful you look tonight, in that dress that hugs you in all the right places." Rose bit her lip and smirked. "Then I started thinking about how you would look out of it and in my bed."

Luisa chuckled. "You just can't wait to get a taste of me, can you?"

"Oh, I've definitely gotten a taste." Rose said, kissing her sweetly then spoke with a deep hunger. "It's everything else that I want."

Luisa blushed. "I'm really happy that you were willing to wait until after the wedding. You'd be surprised how many people don't like that idea."

"Like I said five years ago, I'd wait a whole lifetime if it meant I got to be with you for even a second more. I wouldn't want to wait that long, but I would. I'd do anything for you, Lu."

"I'm really glad my makeup is waterproof right now." Luisa said, trying to hold back tears. "I don't deserve this, you're so perfect. But I'm glad I have you."

"I love you, Lu."

"Not as much as I love you, darling."

I don't deserve this....
