Forbidden

Chapter 4

I started to pack my thing when felt someone grab me and they turn me around, I see its Kili with his finger to his lips " Sh, come with me."

He grabs my hand and pulls me to another room in Beorn house. once we stop I look at him confused "Kili what are we doing here? Thorin will kill us if h-" I started to say but was cut off by Kili pining me to the wall with my arms above my head and pressing his lips to mine roughly.

He pulls away letting go my arms smiling with a small blush  "I'm sorry Kaya it's just I've wanted to do that for so long. I toldly understand if you don't fee-"

I stop him as I grab the front of his tunic crashing our lips together again, wrapping my arms around his neck entangling my fingers in his hair as he puts his arms around my waist, pulling us closer together. After while we break for air, we place our forehead together.

I smile removing my hands from his hair place them on his chest opening my mouth to say something but close it as we hear a cough behind him and we turn to see a pissed off Thorin.

"Th-Thorin, I can explain," Kili said backing off me

Thorin doesn't say anything he just walks over to Kili and grabs his arm dragging off to who knows where. I wait a bit before following them.

Kili's p.o.v.:
Thorin drags me outside of the house to what looks like a garden. he lets go and turns to face me

"What was that?" He asked crossing his arms

"Me kissing Kaya?" I answered more like a question

"And what makes you think I would Condone a relationship between you two." He crossed his arm

"I was honestly hoping that you wouldn't find out," I whispered

"Well, you were wrong Kili, did I or did I not order you to stay away from Kaya."

"You did but why?"

"Because An half-elf like Kaya will never have a place amongst our people and I don't trust her." 

How can you say that, did she not risk her life to save yours?"

"Yes, she did and I respect her for that. But I forbid you from having anymore to do with her Kili."

My jaws drop a little at his words "But Thorin I-"

"THAT WAS NOT A REQUEST KILI THAT'S AN ORDER, YOU WILL DO AS YOUR TOLD, DO YOU UNDERSTAND!" He shouts

I want to say something about Kaya and me but quickly stop myself and just nod "Yes sir."

"Good now go and make sure all your things are ready." He says

Kaya's p.o.v.:

After we got all our stuff together and the new supplies we need, we saddled the ponies Beron gave us and leave. After what happened earlier I decided it is better to ride next to Bofur.

"Yah alright lass?" Bofur asked concerned

"Of course, I'm fine just, great Bofur."

"You sure about that Your not your usual happy self. You know, if you need someone to talk I'm always here for ya."

"Thanks, Bo." I smile "Actually there is one thing I would like to ask you if you don't mind?" I ask

"Sure Lass, what's on your mind."

"Could you tell me what Amrâlimê mean? I believe it's a Khuzdhul word right."

He eyes widen "Well, Yes Lassie it is and it means Love of mine or My Love. How in middle earth do you know that word? I never taught you that one and you told once you never learned our language before."

"Well... I...um just happened to hear it somewhere." I half lied

He just nods. Soon We stopped as we approach Mirkwood. Gandalf dismounts and walks into the edge of the forest through an ancient archway.

Gandalf turns and tells us "Here lies our path through Mirkwood."

"No sign of the Orcs. We have luck on our side." Dwalin says dismounting his horse

"Set the ponies loose. Let them return to their master."

We dismount and the dwarves begin taking their supplies off the ponies. Bilbo and I approach the forest.

"This forest feels...sick as if a disease lies upon it. Is there no way around?" Bilbo asked

"Not unless we go two hundred miles north, or twice that distance south," Gandalf tells him

"Sadly his right Bilbo this is the fastest way," I say turning around to go see if the dwarves need help

The unladen ponies trot away; as Nori and I just about finish unsaddling Gandalf’s horse. Gandalf emerges from the forest. "Not my horse! I need it."

As Gandalf strides forward, the Company looks up and murmurs in surprise.

"You’re not leaving us?" Bilbo asked

"I would not do this unless I had to," Gandalf tells him as turns and begins walking toward his horse

He stops he speaks to Thorin. "I’ll be waiting for you at the overlook, before the slopes of Erebor. Keep the map and key safe. Do not enter that mountain without me." He continues toward his horse. "This is not the Greenwood of old. The very air of the forest is heavy with illusion. It will seek to enter your mind and lead you astray."

"Lead us astray? What does that mean?" Bilbo asked

"He means we must be careful in these woods and never leave the path," I tell him

Gandalf gets on his horse. "You must stay on the path; do not leave it. If you do, you will never find it again." he rides off but stop and turns to us "No matter what may come, stay on the path!" he shouts

We turn toward the forest

"Come on. We must reach the mountain before the sun sets on Durin’s Day. This is our one chance to find the hidden door." Thorin tells us as we enter Mirkwood.
